Just messing with you mate, I didn’t/don’t really understand your comment ??

That’s actually quite sad, I have to say. Being able to develop and possibly sell homegrown players is huge for clubs like ours. All the early years investment without reaping the rewards of first team appearances and or decent transfer fees.

This makes no sense whatsoever. You came to the forum 30 years ago? The forum was rubbish back then? I don’t think we are rubbish now, I quite like it here and like most of the members.

A good insight. Thanks for posting, Major. We can only hope Bakes recovers without any long term effects.

Maybe they were fishing in Canadian waters? Sorry. ? ?

Probably more a case of them getting him cheap/free and hoping he turns them a profit in the future. Low risk gamble for them.

He has to put his health first, ‘tis only a game. I thought he looked like he was really enjoying his football this season. Wish him well.

So far, it does look like he has the “knack” of right place, right time doesn’t it? I’m really looking forward to seeing him develop.

Fulham at home (FA Cup third round) match day thread
SBB replied to Jerseybean's topic in The Havanatopia Match Day Archive
Not sure how anyone walking out of there today could feel anything other than positive. I’ve came out of there before after wins and had mixed feelings. Not today. More of the same please. -
Sheffield Utd as well. Great player.

After Coventry lost 1-0 to Millwall a few days earlier, she wanted to see them get their comeuppance and obviously had faith in Nige.

I’m still suffering the effects of covid 3-4 months after, very lethargic. I’ve gone from just about keeping up with my lads in the bleep test to barely being able to do the warm up. -
The players not selected for the match day squad will need to top up their work load. Same for players on the bench who didn’t come on or only got a few minutes, they do their running after. Nothing sinister in it at all.

Pretty much my feelings too. Ipswich are just collateral damage, the house in which Ashton burns to death.

My “tutors” for college day release, during my 2nd year YTS were Aizlewood and Paul Sugrue. They used to turn up in an MR2, Sugrue in full Pat Sharp dressed as knightrider. They both absolutely loved themselves. We knew it was a joke and basically sat in the cafe for most of the day. They didn’t care whether we were in class or not.

Easy stocking fillers and birthday presents so personally happy to have fresh new kits each season. Seems all part of pre-season now but can understand people preferring a 2 year cycle

Snow White open to offers on the other 6

I’m hoping to see a “win or out” thread. Nige seems to respond quite well to them.
