I’m looking forward to next season too, but then I always was (I didn’t get all the doom and gloom). I’m happy to see what Manning can achieve and after all the Championship is a good standard of football (I’d be miserable if we had been relegated!). Plus there are always some good individual performances to watch even in the matches where we don’t click going forwards (e.g. Dickie).
Wish I could share that enthusiasm and am totally happy to be proven wrong. I’ve had enough of it now - things have become cyclical and for the first time, I’ve decided I won’t be renewing next season.
These performances have all come a little too late, which is easier when there is nothing to play for (other than contract renewal/being here next season). Will things change next season when the pressure is back on to make the top 6 - doubt it, but if we do, fair play!

It was a poor performance but let's add some context please. The conditions were shocking-extremely windy, sun in the players eyes and litter swirling all over the pitch! It's also a meaningless game which we got a point out of!
With that mentality, no point even travelling to watch.
Hardly extreme weather conditions.

Winning five in a row will mean we’ve had an amazing end to the season so would mean a lot going into next season
To the next batch of young, want-away starlets. I used to enjoy following a team that tried to compete/progress (not player effort btw). I feel so much less enthused by it all nowadays.
It’s great seeing talent come through, but so so demotivating that we never seem capable of retaining them when we need them for our progression. Not saying I want 30 somethings either, but it does detract when you know we are geared up as a selling club that won’t replace lost talent to a sufficient degree and thus impacts upon our progress.
Where does the enjoyment and progress come from?
Just me!

Its going to be hard for City with all the positional changes and no more subs in the 90.
I assume same applies should there be extra-time, or is there some kind of reset?
As an aside, genuinely gutted for the lads that had to come off. Here’s hoping they can take something from the remainder.

Has Mannings mate got back to him yet about why we're getting all these injuries?
Yep, not looking good.

Because Robins is a good manager who’s been allowed time. Wonder where NP would have had us after 7 years.
Several wounds to his back.

He's been a success for me. I felt little or no emotion after today's defeat. Trust the process people, you'll all feel nothing after games in due course. These things take time.
And when it’s really ingrained, eventually feel nothing… and stop bother going!

So is the game plan just to have a crack in injury time?
Only way to “still be in the game”

Oh he does , but he always thinks his plan is perfect , the players are wrong or not carrying it out properly .
Or the emotional environment created by the fans leading to anxious players. It’s never him.

Make no mistake about it.
The act of absolute self sabotage that the club embarked on in November was in no small part to do with Tinnion.
Even if he didn't instigate it, he could have tried to battle against it.
But he didn't. Because Brian Tinnion benefited. Which gives belief that his fingerprints are all over it.
He's so far up the Lansdown's arses he could eat their breakfast for them.
Distinctly recall towards the end of NP’s reign, BT as co-commentator on RobinsTV… he was audibly sighing and tutting. It was clear he wasn’t a fan of what was being served by NP.
Ironically, he is now full of contentment, with many fans displeased at what they see.- 7

It's an incredibly strange choice of image.
7 people in the photo, only one of which is a current first team player. Is it normal to have a big picture of the club's technical director on such a post?
Surely the club know that Tinnion and Manning are relatively unpopular figures within the fanbase right now, so why make them so prominent in the advert? We seem to have used this as an opportunity to double-down on a couple of unpopular appointments.
Very odd.
Just the club doing their thing of stamping down their messaging via marketing - like it or lump it.
Seriously debating whether to bother renewing.

Things are so shite at this club now all they've got is "we always believe"
Sunday should have been a warning to them about how people are ready to walk away and what have they done? Increased the prices quite significantly
You actually couldn't make this up.
Surprised there wasn’t a sub-line under “We always believe” of “Why don’t you? I’ve been here thirty years.”

We’ve been here before, people saying they won’t renew, then we get a record number of season ticket holders the following season and The Lansdowns sit back and think all is rosey. When Pearson got sacked there was outrage but no one made a sound about it a few days later at Ashton Gate against Sheff Wednesday
Ain’t that the truth. We’ve succumbed to reluctant compliance, through loyalty to the club… which is the very same hand used to beat ourselves with.
The echelons will never learn, they are either unwilling or just incapable of recognising their own inadequacies.
And the saga goes on… albeit in a nice stadium and improved training ground (none of this HPC nonsense).

Asda could have someone stocking the shelves brilliantly for 30 years - doesn’t mean they should be put in charge of the whole store

Incredibly amateur to put a specific number on next seasons point total. Hasn't BT learned from JL's mistakes of saying this squad has a top 6 squad. All this does will be further pressure on Manning next season.
Also, BT is thick in saying this right before next season's season ticket prices will be released. Does he really think we will flock to purchase a season ticket, where he has publicly stated that the ambition is to be 10 points better off?!
Laughable, amateurish, joker.
Between LM on the weekend and now BT, all we hear are sound bites along the lines of them vs us. The issue being, as they see it, it’s their way or nothing.

Felt like a club on its arse today. All the optimism and togetherness under Pearson drained away. Didn’t give a toss about the win felt nothing
Sadly this. Now we have to contend with LM feeing as though he has to shield the players from negativity… yet he fails to see, it’s his management (and the Echelons) that have created it - not the fans.
Unity anyone?
-
In the last poll I opted for the option of give him til the end of the season and reassess. Now I’m convinced he’s got to go.
Who’d replace him, no idea. Just know I’ve seen enough and feel disillusioned with the club right now.

A bittersweet feeling. In one sense, naturally delighted for 3 points as a fan and 3 points taking us further from the drop zone. However, it also means the stay of execution for the bore-fest that is Manning ball must continue.

Or the Love Story between BT/SL/JL?
In all seriousness, will be interesting to see his tone compared to previous RTV appearances he has made.
