Seriously? Think he's played well.
Effort - Yes
One decent cross.
But what is he - He’s been here a year and I can’t still work it out.

CAN WE STOP PASSING BACK

Cornick is rubbish

McCorie is an accident waiting to happen.
Beats him 3 times and then he loses it…

No Sykes and No Conway again.
I think that says he does want not to score goals.
Just don’t get it.
We are struggling to score goals so he leaves both the most likely to score on the bench.
As someone who I wanted to give time I am fast loosing patience
Means will win 2-1……

True.
But, the arguement against your point is we haven't had any success or entertainment value playing a possession based game under Manning..
I don't believe we have the players to do that.
When a team sits back is generally when the stadium falls asleep and social media erupts ... Because it's boring to watch and the result will be poor.
Can Manning sign players so we can play both styles and have an answer for all circumstances? Time will tell
Twine, Sykes and the new winger will give us better options to break down teams who sit deeper.
QPR is a good test for the team and Manning after 2 good wins.
Can they have 60% possession and still win?

Leeds and Leicester will go up.
All 3 are good teams but the other 2 are just so much better going forward.
Leeds and Leicester just have more firepower.

Vyner is probably the most important player to keep fit in the squad.
No real replacement for him. Only Pring could do a similar job with ‘pace’
Dickie needs pace along side him. Needs Vyners as cover when he moves into midfield with the ball.
They make a very combination.
Vyner most unsung player in the team maybe with Tanner both are having really good seasons.

We have a squad with competition better than ever.
When Sykes and Twine back it will be a tough call to get a best 11.
Only goal keeper and Centre Half do we now lack competition.
Need to keep Vyner and Max fit. Most other positions we have good options. We just need a little more quality in the summer and we will be close to the top 6.

9/10 tonight was MoM

Did really well. Surprised he came off.
We look more comfortable with him on the pitch.
Nice to know we have one of better players out and we have a decent back up

Why do you actively try to wind people up all the time if you are over 50 years old?

Forest, Middlesbrough then Southampton, I sadly think its more likely we will lose all 3, not win 2 on the bounce!
There is your 2 on the bounce

Manning getting a fair bit of criticism for this yesterday and it’s completely fair to say that the two halves from us looked completely different to each other. Changing shape when 2-0 up at half time isn’t something you see very often. But I think, whether one agrees with a decision or not, it is always worth considering why it was made. Comments of ‘baffling decision’ suggest a lack of thought as to why the decision might have been taken. You can disagree with a decision but still understand the thought process behind it. Something that doesn’t happen too often on OTIB, or most football forums I would guess.
When you consider the following it looks much more of an understandable decision:
1. 5 at the back has conceded just 2 goals in 400 minutes of football against Premier League opposition
2. The second half against Preston would be fresh in his mind
3. No league win since Boxing Day
4. A bit of a trend (although diminishing) of conceding early second half goals
Maybe there are other reasons as well but if you put yourself in Manning’s shoes, I think it is more understandable than it appeared at 4pm yesterday. I think he was vindicated as well. Max had a few saves to make but we weren’t massively tested. Their goal was lucky as well which probably put a further negative spin on the win for some.
Objective get three points away from home at Middlesbrough.
Rest a few players where possible as another 2 games this week
Dont give away a 2 goal lead.

If you need a player for a relegation dog fight then Bakinson is your man…..
If he is a regular starter then they are pretty much down.

So I wasn’t making it up then? Also wrong on Vyner and Conway.
I will accept your apology!
I can’t see Conway or Vyner mentioned in the above
Vyner was already a first team player - so why refer to him
Conway in Aug 21 I don’t he played until a few times that season
I did you the list what more can I do.
Also forgot Pearson - Tick

Well a apart from Scott & Max I will give you that but glad they proved me wrong (Scott very wrong)
They are just opinions some will be right and some will be wrong.
I just get more right than wrong.
Not because I am a genius. Simply I saw what I see.
I have seen enough football to warrant having opinion.
Others will have diff ones - that’s cool. We can all see the same game/players differently.
If we don’t post an opinion then we would not have this forum.
Get some right, get some wrong and that is the beauty of football and all that comes with it.

How about change back to a 4-3-3 or similar for one.
I don't think this current shape will especially work for us. Maybe it will when all are fit time will tell but when Bell who is not a left sided player is at RWB, when Tanner is kinda shoehorned in at CB..then there is the risk Sykes return and the impact will be negated by putting him at Wingback.
Agree - Sykes needs to play wide right in a front three.
Best attacking player we have and pre injury arguably the best player we had.
Some tough decisions for Manning Tanner vs McCorie
Midfield 2 to play with Twine.
who plays wide on the left.
What Manning does have is lots of options and competition.
Maybe not enough quality but that is what I hope we fix in the summer.
I don’t think we are miles away.
The one that made me think last night was Dickie.
Up to this point he was for me a no brainier but last night showed up the gap we need to get closer to if not close for our next step. -

The same wisdom that said Vyner not good enough. The same wisdom that said Alex Scott needed a two year loan to league one and wouldn’t play in the premier league. The same wisdom that said Max would never make the first team. The same wisdom that said Conway should go out on loan before he then went on to score a ton of goals
Your track record is so bad.
Your making it up now….
Wisdom and also humility
Agree re Max - I said yesterday he is proving me wrong in the last few months

Said not a Striker he wont score goals.
I said he will never get to 10 in a season.
Check out he’s record and tell me I am wrong.
