Maybe I am biased but that defeat felt a little bit harsh. Built up a head of steam and half, that moment where it didn't quite cross the line.
Thin squad, injury wrecked, fairly tough period- Cardiff away, doesn't get easier does it although maybe we can hit them on the break a bit.
Thought we did ok tonight.
They were the better team but we gave a pretty good show.
The squad was short maybe 2 or 3 going into the season and it’s costing us at the moment.

I disagree now I know yeboah is young but give me strength
Yeboah is not up to this standard at this point but he’s only 17.
Pace, Energy and effort but no composure and just not ready yet for this level
Should have a least a season

Doesn’t that involve our owner spending some money?
Don’t hold your breath, we already have him on a season long loan, SL won’t want to do that if he can avoid it.
£1 million is rumoured to be the fee.
He is not worth that kind of money better players out there for that sort of money

Been a decent game
We have done ok.
The looked very well coached.
When they break there movement and patterns are very good. Player all look comfortable on the ball.
There is still something for us in the game.
They are open at times and just we just lack a decent ball in in front of Conway.
Bell looks ineffective tonight.
Mehmeti could get some joy on the break.
Also Weiman needs to be replaced but can’t see we have anyone to replace him maybe Cornick - This squad is so light and it’s showing with lack of options for Nige.
We may need to score 2 to get at least a point.

Well watched by Max

Mehmeti for Bell
Not sure we got anyone to replace Weiman

We are playing pretty well
I think we are still well in the game
To be fair they look a decent team. They are not at the top for no reason.

A 2-1 defeat against a team just down from prem and more than likely heading back up and going down fighting is all we can ask,how this team has moved on from 3-4 years ago with little money spent in those years
Last year we would have got beat 4- 0 at Leicester and 4-1 at Leeds.
We have improved year on year under Nige.
2 decent windows an say 4/5 decent players in on top of this squad and we will be top 6.

Does anyone seriously think MOL is good enough to be our number one keeper. If we had signed him from Rotherham or Oxford what would the reaction have been? I believe he gets a lot of leeway from being an academy player, one who has been given many opportunities.
Never good enough.
Everyone knows it.
Said it 2 years ago and got slated then.
Because he came through the academy people can’t see it or won’t what is so ridiculously obvious.
We need a new keeper if we won’t to progress and get into the top 6.
Max would not get into any other team in the championship.
There are better keepers out there even if only on loan.

Not writing anyone of yet.
I just said what I saw last night and in last few games.
TGH did not look like a £1m player last night. He looked like he struggled to make a tackle and track bacK. I would say those two are a given when spending £1m quid. That’s the big point I am making he is ‘£1m quid not a free transfer’
He can def find a pass and looks good on the ball and clearly something there but that side of the game is very important in ‘this team’
Bakinson was kicked out pretty quickly for not doing the same but his was his effort rather than ability to do it. TGH is not his attitude or effort.
Also for the last time said Seymenyo not a Striker. Said he will never score 10 goals a season - 2+ years later I am still right but let’s not let the facts get in the way.
Don’t forget to keep messaging when he scores it’s been very quiet for such a long time. -
Great result tonight. Conways first goal was top class.
First 75 mins shocking.
I thought TGH looked poor overall tonight. Against a poor side he did not show any type of upgrade on Tanner.
OK maybe not a RB but thought he lost the ball and his 1 on 1 contest to many times.
Also his chasing back looked slow and to much effort at times.
For me £1m is way to much and we should be looking else where.
Vyner would do a better job for me than either RB but has been so good in the middle.
Roberts been on a few times now and again positioning looked questionable and does not really offer going forward as I thought he would. Not someone who can put pressure on Pring.
Shame as I thought we had some options at full back but looks like it’s Pring and Tanner (unless Vyner moves across) with little pressure on each of them for a starting role.
Hopefully we won’t burn them out.

He’s a top prospect and streets ahead of Bell IMO. He looks bigger as well so the comparison with Vardy is a good one. His deal runs until June 2025; spend some of that nest egg and sign him up, Steve, if only to protect a potentially huge asset.
Will be as good if not better than Scott.
Could play top half of the Prem - Palace, West Ham, Brighton..
Worth at least £30m plus in todays stupid market.
Every teams who gets promoted needs a very good striker - We got one.
Just need a goalkeeper, right back, central midfielder and maybe a centre half and we will have cracked it.

The squad is only 2 light if as most on here are happy with Max.
1 midfield with legs a bit like Knight but a bit more creative.
1 Striker (maybe only needed to Jan) Need a dif type someone with more physicality and preferably still run in behind.
We have more competition than I can recall in recent years.
Maybe not out and out quality but the depth and competition is there.
Nige has done a pretty good job on building the squad.
You could argue a CB but when Atkinson back we have 4 who will all think they should be starting and maybe 3 others that can cover and prob do a decent job.
Maybe with some Measengo Money we will get one or both over the line for Friday.
I think Nige knows what we need and it’s down to the club to back him.
-
We are only short -
Striker (on loan will do)
Decent Away Kit.
To replace Scott type we could have to move someone/a few on - Cornick, Tanner , Naismith….
Also love to see Kalas resign and better Keeper.
Quiet a lot to do really.

Not another one…
Not that Nige likes to sign defenders but we now have the ability to pick a team of Defenders/Wingbacks (utility players) If we make the signing of Taylor GH.
8 could/have played CB and we need another one ?
In contrast I think we have 2 Strikers and one is out for 3 months but we need another utility player.
I have no problem with that as long as we bring in some cover for Conway even if only on loan.
Its not the worst team I have seen….
Maybe goal shy but should keep a few clean sheets.
Max
Vyner Dickie Atkinson
Tanner. Roberts
McCorie Naismith Pring
Taylor GH
Sykes

Get them both signed up

No place for Vyner then or are you assuming he's off before the window shuts?
No. Although not signed a contract.
3 decent CB’s at this level.
Maybe even go 3 at the back with Wingbacks - Mcorie and Pring/Roberts.
Also Vyner could play RB feel he would be better than Tanner.

Pring and Tanner have been so poor so far. Pring is a quality player but something is missing. Roberts deserves to start. I’d go with Sykes over Tanner or even a return to 3.5.2.
Roberts barley got over the half way line when he came in and we were chasing the game.
No better or worse than Pring

Tanner bombing on?
No chance
McCorie when ever he gets fit
-
If he would sign a 1 year contract it’s a no brainer.
No fee, no loan fee and reduced wages sounds perfect.
And we all know as long as stays fit would be a starter.
Kalas and Dickie would be a pretty strong and experienced back 2.
Would allow the full backs to bomb on something I have not seen yet.

This is going to sound really harsh but I actually think he is doing more harm than good.
He is clearly not ready for this level but he is only 17 so that is no surprise if had composure in front of goal he already be at one of the prem clubs academies.
We have to play players who are at this level. It’s not a cup game it’s the league and he is taking the place of better more experienced players.
We cant just throw kids at it all the time and hope it works out.
It does take and yes he needs experience and this will def help him in the long run but IMO it’s far to early at this stage
