  1. It's in the Universe where you try and convince yourself and others that it is a top 10 squad (simply because you dislike the manager), therefore when it isn't in the top 10 you feel you have built up the right to have a pop at the manager at EVERY single opportunity, going as far as even mentioning/comparing other clubs and managers to us. Conveniently forgetting the fact they are in a completely different situation on and off the field - but again trying to convince yourself and others that we are somehow massively underachieving simply due to the manager.
  2. All of them, as they are 9th in the League.
  3. Bizarre, I just posted what I seem to see on a regular basis from yourself, sad, sly digs, without having the balls to actually say what you actually think (unless I have missed those posts). This thread has absolutely nothing to do with what a decent job Cooper is doing, and having an actual discussion about how and why (change of formation, players etc). The thread has been started just to have an underhand dig at Pearson and the club you apparently support. It is a very strange way (and a bit sad imo) to live your life, just looking at any old opportunity to have a dig - no matter how ridiculous the reason is.
  4. Another day, another strange sly old dig, by the same poster. Imagine my shock.
  5. He never said he wasn't a part of it, he said it got to the point where basically a mediocre manager (paraphrasing his opinion) could win the league, because of the squad, bond and winning mentality that was already there. That doesn't make him a complete tool, he is giving an opinion on something in which his son, as a player was a big part of. As you will be aware of Peter, it isn't really a surprise that Casper has a winning mentality as well.
  6. “They got to the point where they could even win the league with Claudio Ranieri in charge. My intention is not to be cruel to Claudio but 2015/16 was a players’ triumph, not one of management. Basically saying it wasn't to do with Ranieri being some sort of genius, rather that the foundations were already there. Also quite amazing how many Leicester fans pretty much say the same things as well - people who have actually seen it happen in front of their own eyes.
  7. Must be terrible to have a manager to have a player (or players) with a winning mentality, and a battle hardened squad that he help build, a squad who buy into it all as well with an incredible bond, playing to their strengths and having an actual game plan. I hope Pearson does indeed pee off any players who don't buy into it, and leave them out of the squad, or get rid of them. It's been all too easy for as long as I can remember down the gate, hopefully the tide is turning, and if a player wants to go home and moan to his missus about not playing, rather than trying to turn it around for himself and force himself back in, then the issue isn't with the manager and maybe the player should have a good look in the mirror.
  8. Feel free to jump in and reply to my last post with an honest answer too. By the way, Max was at fault, doubt anyone disagrees with that whatsoever, BUT you said, and I quote "O’Leary never will make the first team". So you are in fact wrong, no matter how you want to frame it, you can never, ever be right in this case.
  9. TBF - most of them in the toilets just look embarrassed at the freaks they have supporting them. The sad case at the end, just odd. The least they should have done was nick him and hold him for as long as legally possible, then charge him, and make him have a few trips to the Bristol courts.
  10. Some bizarre posts. Why not just say what you really think of Pearson, or what he is doing wrong as a manager? All of these little digs just come across as pathetic and childish, with no balls to actually come out and say exactly what you are thinking.
  11. Also worth noting (imo), that if we had James and/or Williams in those games I honestly don't think we would have conceded that many, as there certainly would have been more linked up play. All ifs and buts, but we are heading in the right direction, players seem to know what they are doing now, and we finally seem to have a bunch of players who are committed/right attitude - players also know if they are not committed then they will be gone. I honestly think the attitude that Pearson requires is now starting to show. All I wanted from this season was to stay up, but was hoping we would not be in a relegation scrap with 5-10 games left. Hopefully that is the case, and the manager can have a fair few games not needing to win and can try a few things out, and also more youngsters getting minutes and gaining experience.
  12. But how many games do you watch for each individual, or how many chances do you give them before you write them off? Is it 1, 2, 5, 10 games? Do they all have to be Championship games? Do you watch development games? Cup games? Do lower league loans count towards your assessment? Do you take in what/who the opposition is? Is the team setup to the players advantage? What about the players around them at the time?
  13. How many games do you give a player before you write them off? You have basically wrote off kids after how many appearances exactly? When as rightfully has been pointed out to you the high majority will NOT make it anyway, therefore it doesn't make you right at all. You may as well have just named every single academy player and say "I was right on most of them", the maths will tell you that.
  14. That's the issue, it isn't simply an opinion and then a debate, which is how it should be,
  15. Semenyo - can't score Scott - will never score (and we won't see him start again) O'Leary will never make the first team I'm guessing you never mentioned Pring & Benarous, because they will never make it....... Bit sad of me bringing up old posts, but just for some clarity, what with you being Mr Right.....
  16. I wouldn't worry too much with what the OP has to say about Bakinson. You only have to read his comments on the "dropping the Captain" thread to see what goes on in his head.
  17. That's Holloway with some make up. Makes total sense now.
  18. Feel free to make me a cash offer for the bit that belongs to me, you can then double your bit.
  19. Plenty will get drawn in as it is someone 'famous', it will always be worth something but in the majority of cases they generally won't go up much in value due to the amount there are. One offs, match worn etc would generally be a good investment, but depending on who it is and what the occasion was (and go up when they pass away generally). Many auctions will have people with the FOMO, and also people who love the "look at me" attitude.
  20. As for fraud - you need to have a COA from a reputable company, or stay well away imo. Plenty of sports memorabilia is signed but have never been worn by the sportsperson themselves, as long as the advert isn't claiming such then that is how it is. I bet Beckham has signed thousands of boots, you cannot expect him to have worn them all, but you will also have actual match worn stuff which will fetch a premium, and then next level stuff where they have been worn in a final etc. In theory most of it is just an autograph, but on something that is related to the sport/person themselves.
  21. I hate Cardiff and the head tapping, but pay me Reids wages and signing on fee and I will have a go at it. It isn't much different than Taylor with a snake in his GIFs is it to wind up the Sags, which we all probably found hilarious.
  22. Definitely. That is what I don't understand with food and drink prices. Surely lower them a bit and more than likely sell a lot more, making more profit overall and making use of the staff you are paying.
  23. Well, I am assuming straight after the game he was saying Millwall were good, but them pesky Teds were even better. I know they didn't play, but every week our game is the biggest of the week for them. Bizarre.
