  1. I was surprised, but also sort of glad he got it, he has had a lot of stick (some rightfully so), and been a scapegoat for many when things don't come off, even though he has tried to do certain things. His positional play was definitely better and he was constantly looking around a lot more to get himself right. He seemed to be buzzing after getting it, and as above it won't do him any harm. Hopefully the likes of Benarous and Scott will get one sooner or later.
  2. This was UK Counter terrorism, St Johns Ambulance and citizenAID asking for it. There will be more terror attacks without a doubt in this country, but it certainly wasn't a news story just because they knew one was imminent. The kits contain more equipment and instruction for more serious incidents. There is also a campaign for bleed kits in pubs, clubs etc due to all of the stabbings. What a lovely country we now live in.
  3. Do all electric cars go this far and beyond without recharging? Some I have seen I'm sure are 30-70 miles. Charging times on some are just not feasible either (that's if you can find a charging point) I heard on a podcast a couple of weeks ago that one person went from London to Glasgow and it took over 15 hours. He stopped in service stations to recharge where they only had 2 chargers available as the others were broken. He said his car was 1 hour to charge up, but with cars already charging or waiting in front you can be looking at being in a service station for hours at a time. Just sounded horrendous. Yes things should get better, but the infrastructure just isn't anywhere near there.
  4. As in a doll, like when I was a kid many wanted to be an action man or Barbie when they grew up as that was the in things. Unsure what or why you need to explain anything to kids at all. Does a primary child need to know about anatomy if they want to grow up and be like Barbie or an action man? The week after they want to be something else, it's called being a child. They don't need to go to school and get told they can identify as a girl one day and then a boy the next, and get told about gender neutral etc - as Primary children. Not going to argue, you can rightfully have a different view to me.
  5. Yes, I mentioned a school where complaints have been made, were fobbed off repeatedly and the child was then taken out (not the only child taken out either). The school what Riaz mentioned had an agenda as well. So there are 2 mentioned on here and only from a handful of posters. No doubt these are just one off schools in Bristol, and it isn't happening anywhere else in Bristol or the 21000 schools in the UK....I mean it couldn't be could it because you don't think there is an issue. Even if it was only one school out of 21000, it is one school too many. Maybe have a google yourself, and you will find many examples, but no doubt they are all telling porkies.....
  6. Yes he/she can be told whatever the parents are happy for them to be told, it isn't a teachers job to tell kids what the individual teachers think themselves and their agenda (we will end up going down the US route).
  7. You get fobbed off at every turn, and they don't present any defence because they have their agenda, it's just takes a toll whilst getting no answers so the child no longer goes to the school anymore.
  8. Where are the parents? I'm sure the story spread like wildfire through the Primary school where kids just happened to stumble across this story, and primary kids being primary kids first thought was for the Spanish schoolkid, and they thought they would do a protest for inclusivity.... Sounds plausible that this wasn't pushed by some adults whatsoever.
  9. Oh ok then, we won't believe anything that kids tell us what happens in schools. We will just go along with that is taught in a well rounded way as we don't attend their lessons, still nice that you can make a judgement, even though you haven't had the lesson taught to you either. The bottom line is primary schoolchildren do not need to know a single thing about any gender identity, non binary, trans, choose genders on certain days etc etc. Why can't they just be left alone to simply be kids?
  10. It's a massive issue. Why would you or anyone want primary kids being told they can change genders and identify as whatever they want at that age, why tell them about their bodies etc. They're kids FFS, let them play as kids and pretend to be a dinosaur, Barbie or a fireman etc, it just confuses kids about something they don't need to know about in the first place. It's an odd agenda being pushed by people who call themselves progressives, think they are always doing the right thing, by pushing things to the extreme.
  11. Happened in a primary school in Scotland, asked boys to wear a skirt for the day for inclusivity and equality (I mean that's what really promotes equality and they couldn't have done anything else). There seems to be a whole agenda pushing gender identity on young kids who just don't need to know about it at that age. It was a primary school, kids should be left alone to be kids rather than confusing them with all of this gender nonsense pushed on them. Why can they not be left alone to be kids and pretend to be whatever they want to be for the day, and as they grow up they then choose who or what they want to be?
  12. The magazines are the least of the problems, it's the pushing it in schools which is ridiculous.
  13. Well on that note, from now on I will tell everyone to go electric, stop flying, stop eating meat etc etc, but not do it myself as I'm just a messenger. When the messengers are people like Lewis Hamilton who flies a dog on private plane, and Greta who is now reported to be a millionaire (wasn't she having a go at people profiting from this crisis over the weekend), then they won't be getting me on board for the full menu of change. I do enough myself imo, but certainly will carry on flying for a holiday, driving a diesel, as an electric car is a non starter for me, and eating meat. As I said it cannot be that much of a crisis when the messengers, actors, celebrities tell us all what to do, but they cannot be bothered to practice what they preach, they either do not care one bit, or there just isn't the crisis they are telling us about.
  14. Indeed, and I have no shame whatsoever using it. If this is the crisis that these people are telling us it is, then why are they literally doing nothing about it themselves, bar virtue signalling to the peasants of society? Why do they still go on holiday and get flights (mainly private jets)? Why do they still have gas guzzling motors? The climate spokesperson for the PM drives a diesel and not electric, whilst telling people to go electric. How are Gretas people getting everywhere, it wouldn't be flying would it? I just don't understand how these people know so much about this crisis, and know how much damage we are all doing to the planet, yet they cannot be bothered to even practice what they preach and do absolutely nothing - they cannot be that worried can they. It's hypocrisy of the highest order, and quite frankly all they are all doing is making people think "why bother".
  15. I will stop taking a flight, driving a car etc etc when the hypocrites preaching to us start doing the same. It was a nice touch of Joe Biden to only have 85 cars driving to the COP26, that was obviously a must.... How many planes flew in exactly? But as long as a celebrity tells me what not to do, with their staggering hypocrisy they can frankly do one imo.
  16. If this scheme is all about clean air, and clean air only, then why are people allowed to pay money to pollute the air? Also is this scheme still exempt for Marvin and his buddies in the Council? As for public transport being the answer, then we are doomed.
  17. You sound extremely level headed. Calling people thick because they haven't heard a footballer explain (all of twice) why he does what he does? Jeez. And well done to Lyle, an actual level headed man.
  18. It's as if The Guardian have some sort of agenda, like the majority of media outlets which is just full of huge bias towards what they want people to believe. I expect if the Daily Mail wanted to do the same sort of "story", they would find the exact opposite by asking who they want to ask to get the results they want.
  19. That was a very costly exercise for me last time I went in there. It was a great idea at the time though.
  20. I think this is the point of what he is trying to get at unless I am mistaken. Obviously Barton shouldn't have said it, and I think it just came out as that was the only word that came into his head for some unknown reason, when he was trying to be smart by getting in more excuses. I cannot stand the bloke and he really should have just come out and said he didn't mean it as it seems, apologise and move on (and the Club should have too). But I don't think there was any meaning behind what he said just by going by the way it came out.
  21. Certainly not saying the Holocaust was an imagined event, unsure how you have got to that conclusion, unless I am completely mistaken. As in words being offensive etc, and how language has changed, it has gone so crazy now that I wouldn't be surprised of any single word being banned/offensive as we now have people/organisations that have completely lost the plot when it comes to language and offense. When people are getting offended by the words woman, mother, breastfeeding etc etc then we are in serious trouble.
  22. From Kingswood here too, it has never really been a rovers area, they seem to think it was, or even still is, because the saggie fans I know generally just drink and hang about with other saggie fans. They do not know how to converse with anyone else so they just think the majority are Sags.
  23. Maybe if it was all out in the open and all reported fairly by actual Journalists (I don't think we have any left now as they are as corrupt as the EPL, EFL, UEFA, FIFA), people wouldn't have to go and find who are behind certain businesses, Social Media etc etc. It just shows how corrupt the whole World is when it comes to taking money. But you won't see many people boycotting any of these businesses whilst using them as it suits the individual. No doubt the majority of people who shout the loudest about any type of equality are doing nothing about it whatsoever themselves, I expect they are posting about it on their mobile phone/tablet/pc made by cheap labour in China, whilst wearing the latest fashion made by cheap labour in China/Pakistan/Turkey etc etc, without even seeing the irony.
  24. This deal sums the EPL up perfectly. Endorsing players taking the knee for equality for everyone, rainbow laces, kick it out campaigns, badges etc etc. But as soon as a bit (a lot) of cash comes along they just bend over just happily let in the Saudi mob - who are a state against everything that the EPL apparently stand for. Shows them up for what they are, a virtue signalling bunch of ***** who obviously don't believe a single word of what they actually say to others. Is it a surprise, not really. We have the World Cup being held in Qatar ffs, but that's all good as well, especially when money and brown envelopes comes into the equation.
