I hadn’t realised it was a 12.30 kick off.
Ashton Gate is hosting the England v Wales game in the Women's Six Nations on Saturday March 30th, KO 4.45pm.
From what I believe was mentioned by @JerrySLO at a previous SC&T meeting, the City v Leicester would most likely be moved so that there's enough time (24+ hours) to get the stadium ready e.g. setting up various TV cameras, relevant sponsor signs inside the stadium etc- 2

Brighton match tickets now off sale (the club have since confirmed that they will be available on the day). Currently three seats available on the supporters coach

Brighton match tickets go off sale tomorrow. Less than five seats remaining on the coach

Would be interesting to know what was the mid-season friendly that Lauren referred to in her pre-match interview.
Also, I'm gutted with yesterday's result. Good to solely focus on the league now, but as the game progressed on, I genuinely thought it could have gone to extra time.
Looking at the other results in the fourth round, this was the only 1-0, which shows how close it really was

Shae Yanez starts in goal, becoming the fifth goalkeeper to start for the team this season. No new injury concerns for Clark or Haaland as far as I'm aware, so I think they are being rested.
KO 1pm, live on BBC Radio Bristol on DAB & on BBC Sounds

This is happening today in the SC&T Bar ahead of KO. 11am to 12.30pm. For anyone here that are also collectors

Surely they have to bring in an outfielder or three now! I was hoping they'd sign Rachel Rowe after Reading went down, maybe she could now come on loan from Rangers, barring injury as she doesn't appear to have played much for them so far this season.
Yep, Rachel Rowe is a name mentioned by some of the fanbase, especially on the Vixencast!

With all this talk of players coming in, one has headed out. On loan, anyway...

I'm afraid having not strengthened by signing any new outfield players in the Jan window it could stay that way. Very disappointed by the lack of ambition, especially when we have the 3rd highest attendances in the WSL.
As mentioned in her press conference yesterday, Lauren Smith said she's looking to bring in a couple more players in the window, which closes at the end of January

Coach is organised by the SC&T & football club, with tickets only £16

Coach tickets are now £8 as the fixture is on this year's Green Football Weekend. A similar arrangement was done last year when prices for coach travel for Preston away for the men's team were halved

I completely misread the post, I thought it was referring to the Bescot still
No worries! One of the cons of having one thread to cover everything to do with City Women, the topics can change quickly!

Err, first home win?
Yep, the team haven't won yet at Ashton Gate this season. Didn't even win any of the Conti Cup group games at the RHPC either
Only win so far this season was away at West Ham

The Bescot is 20 minutes drive from where I live so I've been looking forward to this one since the fixtures came out. Hoping to get 4 tickets for the family.
Amazing! I've been looking forward to this fixture as well - Villa are geographically City's nearest rivals in the WSL.
Had they not been relegated, it would have been Reading...
Also, the Bescot is a new ground for me to cross off; I never got to see City men play away at Walsall -

Thanks still good though! Will be my first women’s game, looking forward to it.
Great news! If there's the first home win of the season, you'll be the good luck charm

Has anyone got a contact email/number for women's team? I received three parcels today addressed to Fran Bentley, Rachel Furness and Jess Simpson c/o Bristol City WFC but with my home address on them I was club secretary for the original Bristol City WFC which might explain it but that was over 20 years ago!!
Maybe @shahanshahan can help??
I'll message you

How many expected mate?
From what I can see, it looks like it's just the Lansdown Stand that's only open, so I'd expect about 4000 or so

Another ACL injury in the WSL - Sam Kerr of Chelsea
Massive. Could be a big blow in Chelsea's chances of retaining the title.
Also means that she won't play again under Emma Hayes as she's leaving in the summer.
It also means that she won't face off against her fiancée Kristie Mewis when their respective clubs play each other in the FA Cup this weekend - which is what some fans (based on what I've seen online anyway) were looking forward to when Mewis joined West Ham

The career paths of some of these women is crazy. Millwall to San Diego for 6 months to Bristol City.
Sumut happen at San Diego?
I haven't heard London City referred to as Millwall in ages. That made me chuckle
I don't follow the NWSL but I probably assume she didn't get much game time. But I'm guessing she wanted to swap one LA (somewhere in the same state as Los Angeles) for another LA (playing near Long Ashton). I'll get my coat...

I did notice that the KFC looked shut. I walked past it on my way to the Gate for the City Women v Liverpool Women game last Sunday and the shutters were down. I arrived after 11am due to an event at the SC&T Bar
