  1. Bet365 gave 18/1 with city winning and both sides not scoring or 16/1 city winning with both sides scoring
  2. All the talk of Mitrovic, but I think the key is keeping Wilson quiet
  3. Think NP finds the pressers a necessary evil of the job. When asked an intelligent well thought out open question which does not go over the boundaries he keeps having to repeat, he tends to give a very considered and articulate answer. But he certainly does not suffer fools gladly, and some of the journalist get what they deserve for the inept questions they ask or asking a question they then proceed to answer themselves. I enjoy NP's pressers, find them insightful and honest, but message for journalist is to plan decent questions that you think he may answer and don't waste his time.
  4. For footballers at this level, playing against no defence and half hearted attempts by a keeper, bit surprised to see them miss and also some poor 1st touches. Its about the instinctive shot and getting it on target whilst dealing with the pressure from the defender or making the run to create the opportunity, not sure how this prepares them. Also, no Aw?

  9. Yes I was looking up who he was and then posting just as he did that
  10. Kaine Kesler Hayden playing RB on loan from Villa age 19 looks a good player
  11. The only way I can see city promoted is to grow a young team that develops each year, backed with some experience. The difficulty is preventing their heads being turned once you start getting that success. We have gone from a strategy where we thought we could buy success by spending the money made on transfers and bringing in higher calibre of players to develop, but unfortunately this has been an expensive failure due to poor recruitment. Until the farce of PP is removed and we have a league that is a level playing field, we cannot go out and buy the level of players required so we need to develop the youngsters and our academy seems to be starting to bear fruit along with the expensive gamble we took on HNM. We need to stop being just a selling club every time someone shows a bit of interest, but of course everyone has a price.
  12. Sorry but it is the way you wrote that makes it seem that way, attitude over ability as apposed to attitude with / and / alongside ability. But good we think the same.
  13. So basically you are saying you think he is not very good but works hard. Think that is a bit unfair he has shown plenty of ability, a good turn of pace, along with determination to do well and not let mistakes affect his play.
  14. How come its a 12.30 kick off, perhaps for TV?
  15. Although the pressure is off, they are playing with nothing to lose
  16. As much as I would like to see WRDC lose as want them relegated, can't help but be p1ssed off with Reading's nonsense low price loans they have, so draw would be the best
  17. Gave up listening after 30 seconds, bored and falling asleep
  18. Thanks for the pictures, I described the goals on the NP thread and also thought Towler had done well up to then, experienced defenders get done the same, we have conceded many goals where a run has been made in behind Kalas or Baker. The problems was after the 2nd goal you could see the confidence of Towler and maybe team mates was shot and we did well to survive to half time. Towler looks a good player and will add to his learning experience.
  19. Weimar may not be a striker, but never heard of him, so that may be a fact As opposed to Andi Weimenn who plays various attacking position, scored a hat trick today and 4th highest striker in the league and most certainly a striker
  20. Oh we do love a few conspiracy theories on here. Could be simply NP is trying to get us playing out from the back and keeping the ball. Perhaps tried out in training which we are not privy to. I thought we started well and Towler moved the ball around well, we got caught for the 1st goal with a great ball in and an in form Striker making a run behind Towler, the 2nd Kalas makes a bad pass and is out of position and Afobe gets the better of Towler. This can happen to experienced defenders. After their 2nd goal you Could see the confidence go and did well to get to half time. HNM made a big impact and was much more effective than Benerous, coupled with a change of shape and Millwall wanting to get deep and defend a lead all changed the game. NP has many reasons for picking a team but the key is being able to adapt and change if not working
