If the ref had any bollocks Holmes would not be on the pitch following the pull back around the neck on Andi, but seen who it was and kept 2nd yellow in his pocket -

So is Vyner the scapegoat when Bakinson is on the bench? Vyner was back defending his box, you cant just go diving in and you can't prevent every pass. There was much worse defending for the goal than vyner. -

We work so hard to win possession back and give away so cheaply with a Bentley punt up field -

No swap him because we are in the lead and they are targeting that side and getting a lot of joy. Pring is a better defender. -

Think we need to swap Benerous for pring, could easily have given a penalty and been sent off if player went down looking for it -
With respect and I have agreed on all your posts on the subject so far, but evidence do you have on this? as my impression is that there has been a lot of focus and resource

Think there will be plenty of spare seats to pick from

Not a bad guess at 30 years
-
Yes I think you are correct, some years ago, guessing over 30

Omicron has now replaced delta as the dominant type of Covid in England as wellbas Scotland. Estimates for the South West are slightly lower at 48%

Always remember some years ago an away game at Oxford where the fog was that thick the 1st we knew city had scored was when the players came running back celebrating.
-
Considering the media and opposition fall over themselves to try and attack the government at any oppurtunity that does not stack up
-
I seem to remember (possible incorrectly), Brennon scoring twice with near post headers in successive games, then we did not bother trying that corner routine again, or I may have dreamt that and just made it up?

We already have 50% of both championship & L1 games postponed and 67% of Prem, think the EFL should be looking at this and put off the rest of the games by this evening before fans start to travel. For so many games to be affected already, assume down to players infection, how can the EFL prevent much wider spread and more teams affected and more fixture problems for boxing day. Cardiff City v Derby County Match postponed - Other Middlesbrough 12:30 AFC Bournemouth Blackburn Rovers 15:00 Birmingham City Blackpool 15:00 Peterborough United Bristol City 15:00 Huddersfield Town Coventry City v Stoke City Match postponed - Other Millwall v Preston North End Match postponed - Other Nottingham Forest 15:00 Hull City Queens Park Rangers v Swansea City Match postponed - Other Reading v Luton Town Match postponed - Other

After thinking long and hard over if to attend, I have decided not to as the transmission rates are so high and the concourse / toilets etc are enclosed. Although I am triple jabbed, my father has advanced COPD and is coming for Christmas dinner, so whilst I could do a LFT before Christmas to make sure I am not carrying covid, if I test positive he then will not be able to come around and sadly I am not sure how many Christmases he may have left. As family is so much more important than football, its ultimately and easy decision to watch on TV.

What like Lagevrio that is being sent out to vulnerable people
-
I have already paid each month for Robins TV, so can sit at home with a pint of Butcombe and watch, considering what to do.
-
I have little confidence in the system currently being used to stop the spread of this new variant. Vaccine passports are available if you have had 2 jabs, but it would seem Omicron variant can still be caught and spread readily by anyone with 2 jabs. If you have not been jabbed then you require a natural flow test, which not convinced on accuracy and anyone who thinks they are fine or is not bothered about spreading the virus and just wants to go to footy whatever, can just scan the test to say they are clear, without even taking the test. Added to this the lack of requirement to wear a mask (although I think a few more will be wearing again) We all want to watch live football, but at what cost?
-
With the thread 'Not going Saturday' giving an interesting range of views (Mods please merge), I am interested what is the general consensus about the match With the massive increase in covid and a doubling rate now 1-2 days, I am not sure it is a with worth taking coming up to Christmas, even though I am triple jabbed

We all know he has talent, but how many managers have now not played him, suggests a bit more to it, even Swansea who should of suited him he could not get in the team
-
Get the feeling it may be more about his negative affect on the team when not being selected, certainly has ability but maybe more an attitude problem

Hull City away match day thread

May go against the grain and opinion on here, but I don't think we have been too bad today, combination of some poor decision making, good hull defending and ref not giving a foul on mesengo -
