Sheffield Wednesday away match thread
Glen hump replied to Jerseybean's topic in The Havanatopia Match Day Archive
We had 2 shots on target absolute crap , and they looked more like scoring than us even with ten men, we looked uninterested and like we don’t know what we’re meant to be doing. -

They really are bizarre, every one in football knew friend was washed up when they signed him , dof with no experience what could possibly go wrong.
-
Twine was a panic signing by Tinnion, designed to take the pressure off him and Jon , twine getting injured isn’t their fault but it’s looking like a expensive mistake at the moment, it’s very strange that when Pearson was here we were told we were at our maximum money wise, then all of a sudden money became available, absolutely bullshiters the pair of them.

Pretty sure that was the game where Scott Mintos family got abused and threatened, was a nasty atmosphere that day.

Yep that’s right he’s a plumber.

He’s now a plumber, chatted to him a few times, really nice guy.

Yep , can see a couple of forwards and a keeper as cover coming in .
-
Got to be honest, I thought the pitch looked like it was playing a bit slower than usual.

Sorry mate but that save wasn’t immense, it was a bog standard save any keeper at a half decent level should save , imo of course.

The football on show over the last few years hasn’t helped, putting our most vocal fans in a tiny corner really doesn’t help either, the demographics of fans attending Ashton gate has changed massively, we are obviously targeting more families, most grounds around the country are quieter than they used too be , 2 options for me are give us a proper end , if we’re doing well on the pitch the atmosphere will ramp up .

Bit of a frantic opening, weather not helping, Plymouth really do get bodies forward, front foot attacking football.

I find it astonishing that a man who’s been so successful continues to make the same mistakes over and over when it comes to the football club, the penny never seems to drop, it’s almost like he’s ego won’t let him change.

Totally agree he’s far to timid, look at Leeds right back the lad gray , aggressive, and a touch of nastiness about him, going to be a top player.
-
Most annoying thing that bell does for me is he never gets his head up and pick someone out , that’s a very basic thing to do, also we here about his blistering pace, when was the last time he took someone on and used it, I honestly don’t think he’s that quick.

Williams as well would be my guess, heard Preston are interested in him .
