Two more seasons I reckon.
Yep and he will have a weaker squad next season.
Worrying times.

It makes the whole thing a farce and it really starts to make me think about whether it's worth bothering with footall.
Luton and Coventry don't have parachute payments.

Forgot you were a big fan of Cotts
Did you ?
Oh well you have been reminded.

Very organised and detailed coach.
Works hard on team cohesion, formations and tactics.
Gets more out of less.

It's not the efl's responsibility to sort Derby County out, that's the administrators responsibility,
The efls responsibility is to make sure clubs stick to the rules, Derby didn't do this and has been punished,
Derby have the money to forfil their fixtures and should be alloud too,
Glad you agree.

I know Ashton isn't to everyone's taste around here but he must be doing something right at ITFC as the turnaround in team fortunes since he came on board has been like night and day. Actually keeps a low profile with us, that leaping around at Lincoln and high-fiving fans like some WWE wrestler making their way to the ring now seems a one-off.
Just for the record, feel now the majority of the fanbase at Portman Road are now squarely behind him. Came with a certain baggage or reputation but after initial scepticism with many Town fans has now fitted in almost like a piece of the furniture. Would have played a pivotal part in bringing in an influx of new players last summer and taking McKenna to the club as new manager. I don't get to see all the in's and out's and hour to hour business of what goes on behind the scenes, Ashton included, but from our own fans perspective bringing him on board now seems a good bit of business.
We're like 12 league games unbeaten and are now easily one of the very best sides in League One. If we make the play-offs there's every chance we'll win it but pity is McKenna, Ashton and the new Game Changer Group owners came in too late to address the slide left before them by Marcus Evans, Hurst and Lambert. Good night.
Lots of Kool Aid being spat out when this is read.

Possibly waiting for the season to end?
This - EFL have been doing everything in their power NOT to deal with this before the fixtures are finished.
It will be allowed to go on for a while yet.

See my comment above
It's hilarious how gullible so many people are, it's almost as bad as when transfer rumours start
All became clear later in the thread
Many gullible people on this forum.

I’m happy to swallow the extra tenner on ticket price, but it’s the inevitable food and drink increases that will make it a more expensive day out
chicken tenders and chips are already £7.00 and it's a must for my boy !!!

Don’t think HMRC will be playing ball in anyway, nor should they.
It opens the door to so many businesses to follow the same route and simply not pay their taxes.
HMRC have been on football’s case for many years and they will not be conceding any ground on this in my opinion.
Got a horrible feeling this might be when they change and agree to some sort of deal.
Lot of political pressure on this and looking ahead there could well be a number of other clubs heading down this same route.
They could come up with some sort of COVID rule and badge it as a one off, possibly ?

Soccer AM died the moment Lovejoy left. Yes he was a bit of a ***** but him and Helen made it what it was. It’s embarrassing now and Sky stick it simultaneously on 4 channels to try and increase the ratings
They should have altered the format at that point.
Underestimated how important the two lead presenters where to that particular way of doing the show.

I wait for the special offers that Now TV (Sky non contract) do.
Normally one pre season for 6 months and again at Xmas.
Cancel as soon as they whack the price up and sure enough another offer appears shortly after.
Like others I have no interest in Boxing, car racing, rugby or rabbit show jumping etc so offers best value and convenience for me.

PoF pod yesterday was suggesting 70% of “income minus wages and amortisation”…which is far simpler.
I like this idea in principle.

I think we both know that's not true without any context behind them which is what people are trying to provide.
If Fulham finished 3rd, and Luton 4th, are you saying the Fulham board / fans would be feeling happier as they have more ppg? I think not.
Stats are very useful, but rarely in isolation.
Yep agree, stats are limited in the actual "real life" of professional team sports.
Far too many variables when dealing with humans that cannot being replicated on a spreadsheet.
In isolation our win/loss stats would imply our manager is failing.

So now you like stats after all?
Funny old game isn't it
Yep. The only stats that count right here.

He isn't underperforming.
Matches - 55
Wins - 14
Draws - 11
Loses - 30
Points per game - 0.96
My opinion is he is under performing with the squad of players he has had available.

I think the job he did at Norwich has elevated him reputation beyond us.
Pearson also once got a team into the Premier league and he came here !
How long has Pearson got left?
