Rotherham away match thread

Thanks mate -
I actually thought Sykes tracked back better in the first half than Bell did 2nd half (watching from the Dolman). Thought Cornick was good, but needs someone closer to him to pick up the ball when he flicks on/ it bundles off his shin. Like the look of Yeboah, but wish we could keep him as a last ten substitute for energy rather than pinning our hopes on him that early in the game

Jeez Glen, he was only lying to make @Owl Visiting feel better. He’s crying now. Nice one

That's how I'm reading it too. I also thought them 'consulting' with their womens team players is passing the buck of the decision a bit - if he stayed then they can point to them when the inevitable uproar happens. I still think they'll keep him and loan him out somewhere abroad. If so, I hope his girlfriend stays home
-
I don't know if it's because I'm too used to the City, or because the womens' teams don't have the obligatory 6ft 5 defenders/goalkeepers, but corners/ crosses into the box seem a lot more exciting here

Not the biggest distance, and the video is 2 years old, but he doesn't look slow by my eye

Glad you landed safe fella, sorry for your loss. Keep fighting the good fight

Alex Scott - £25m to Bournemouth- Confirmed

I think that would be a great move for him (and us if we can get the standard sell on inserted). Club doing well, good track record of bringing players through and only selling when it suits them (£££). The sort of club I'm sure we aspire to be -

Poor by Pring, but is anyone else surprisingly not that bothered? Reckon we've got another goal in us, especially if Mehmeti comes on, and even if we don't we've shown some glimpses of real quality today. Also it made the Sky commentators really happy -

I've loved Wells under Nige. He could have so easily downed tools after being not played/ played out of position and walked but I think he's bought into it more than anyone Beat me to it! -
Is it official news if it hasn't been on the official club site?

As I'm sure Cardiff and the Sala situation would attest, an announcement on the official site doesn't mean squat, if Cardiff's lawyers are to be believed. -
With these 4, and the (seemingly) tragic and untimely demise of world renowned Cheekies on East Street, what pubs are left in BS3 with a pool table? Rising Sun? Colliers? Sad state of affairs that

Which clubs consider us as their bogey side ?

Wow, we've got a bad record against a lot of teams. Personal pain points include Birmingham, Leeds and an honourable mention to Cardiff. -
Bristol City second greenest EFL football club

All that energy we save by having no hot water in the gents is paying off. Plus the tannoy in the Dolman is powered by a single AA battery (rechargeable) . Good work- 26 replies

Amazing, thanks VftD. I even went in and updated my supporter record online (there WAS a title), but guess this is looking somewhere else.

Is anyone else getting "Title not supplied." when trying to set up a DD?
-
Is that DHGate? Not half bad if they've just eyeballed that based off pictures from the Bristol post

Scott Parker (and his fantastic cardigan) have been sacked from Club Brugge as well - 12 games apparently. Was a pretty weird appointment from the start though

Cornick is a lovely looking lad, don't get me wrong, but I always think he looks a bit like he's been taken hostage and is asking for someone to pay his ransom. Anyone else? No? Yeah, me neither -
There's a surprising amount of (what look like) winnable ties in that list, so I'm expecting us to draw Grimsby away and get a solid thrashing.

I did this for a keeper one (in adult size!) recently. I've not compared it side by side with a legit one, but I was pretty blown away that someone could (or would) go to the effort of manufacturing the GK kit of a Championship side, in China, have it shipped over in less than two weeks then reposted in the UK all for about a tenner and it not be laughable. Quality is pretty much on par with the rest of this seasons range. If someone on the other side of the world can churn them out, I can't see why another supplier/ the club can't.

Girlfriend's family are all Brum supporters so that was really bloody lovely -
You can see Naismith shouting at everyone on the pitch - think it's really benefitted us having that sort of personality at the back. Definitely captain material, but if it's not broken, why fix it. Thought Massengo and Williams made an excellent second wall of defence in front of them too.
