Good team for what we have available. I do wonder why we don't fill the the remaining sub spots with youngsters - surely just the match-day exposure would be beneficial?! Never know in football, early injury/departure and we are limited, especially in defence. Looking forward to this one. They have a lot of pace in the wide area. Tough test. Coyr

Probably in disbelief that we actually had a penalty given! Joking aside, could possibly be something sentimental or just overwhelmed with emotion! Whatever the reason, hopefully all is well and fairplay to him - I thought he converted the pen very confidently.

Absolutely gutted. A saddening and cowardly decision. Wrong person(s) gone. Nige did amazing with the resources available, imagine what could have been with a properly back board...how can they say; "...give the club the best possible chance of success" when he had nothing!? Awful and deflating. Let's see what happens next, but this one hurts.

Argh frustrating but expected. The experience gap was clear to see, but what can you do with 10+ injuries? Thought some of the young lads did well. James - decent positioning wise but struggled going forward. Jamie KL did well coming on. Our defence was makeshift apart from Dickie. Weimann I was disappointed with, forgot he was playing at one point. Felt a goal was coming from a set piece from them too. Didn't think uch of Cardiff but it was all rather simple for them. Can't mock the effort from the lads. Fans were great! Tough one to take. Credit for the effort but can't help feeling anger towards the board. Walking back to Cardiff town in the rain surrounded by Cardiff fans singing "Bristol get battered" - ah well. Let's have them at Ashton Gate!

I'm going to the game tomorrow...except I will be sat in the home end! I live in Wales and naturally several of my friends (surprised I have many by openly declaring I am a English/Bristol City supporter ) are Cardiff fans, and one of them kindly invited me along to watch the game in the Canton end! Think this will be a tough game with our depleted squad and their current good form. They are not the quickest team, nor do they press much, but their physicality could cause us a lot of trouble vs our smaller and less experienced squad. However, our pace and counter attack should cause them problems. I'd take a draw but see no reason why we can't battle out a win. Never been in a home end whilst supporting the away team, so should be an interesting experience. Excited to see and listen to our loud and proud fans from a different perspective. Rest assured I'll be internally screaming and celebrating if we score/win and trying my hardest to avoid expressing frustration and dismay if the opposite happens. No doubt I'll carry a smug smile the whole day should the former happen! Wish me luck and more importantly, COYR
