OK so I did post this on the 'Ipswich' thread but I think it might be more an interesting comparative read here:-
Nov 10th, 2007.. Some City fans had seen enough and walked out in the 48th minute! I had never seen that before.
Blackpool away needing a win for a PO place, started well before half time, in fact before the half hour mark

The Hop Pole was leased from Wellington Pub Co by Bath Ales but they have been bought out by St Austell. St Austell only run their own pub through Tenants so could be available to lease soon Free of Tie which would make it more viable

One of the better Cities for beer alongside Bristol, Derby, Sheffield, Nottingham, Manchester

Other then Scumtaff this is the game I don't like losing due to knowing rather a lot of Rams, although to be fair I have got rather used to it of late. Going for a 2-2 draw

I thought my £20 was lost last night, might have a beer now
That was a bit like the football team at times, not putting in the top rate performance when required. England are a couple of top order batsmen and another spinner short of being a very good side.

England effectively 84-4 and the Windies are 10/3 with bet365

Oh did we beat them again? What a surprise. Four great West Country names in that Summerset team

Will he have the bollocks to acknowledge the travelling support?
Will he have the bollocks to ball out the players?
Will one or more of them lump him one?

Bristol City head coach Lee Johnson told BBC Radio Bristol:
"We have got to make sure that our big players turn up and put in good performances.
"They [Preston] have flaws and weaknesses like all clubs in the Championship and we can only exploit them if we are at it.
"We have to make sure that everything we do is positive and on the front foot. We have to be the best team on the day."
-
It's actually not Johnson's fault, he cannot help the fact he is inept and out of his depth it is those who chose him and have continued to back him against ALL the evidence.

Awful first half, we are comfortably the worst of two very poor teams both devoid of confidence and flair

Was it the Battle of Stamford Bridge? @havanatopia

I do get that, but I felt before he took it he should have given the ball to Tammy and I still believe that now. Imagine the boost you give an 18 year old kid getting his first career hat-trick. The only person who gains from Tomlin scoring that penalty is Tomlin. But, he is the designated penalty taker
At 1-3 and 10 v 11 we gain 3 points

Remember having a lunchtime session at the Blue Anchor in Helston many years ago after discovering Spingo.
Thought it was great at the time, wonder if it's still being brewed down there?
I have some Spingo and Spingo Special on tap right now, brewed at the iconic Blue Anchor in Helston.

A stroll in the park this evening, Somerset have no idea how to play this game, nudge it around for 15 overs then try to slog every ball for 6. The master showed them how it is done. Additionally Glos took the pace off the ball, Somerset didn't
