Dont worry there will be another one just like it, starting in a few months. Full of words of hope and little else, we need the engine driver to drive us on and not be content to sit in a layby with the engine just ticking over. Others pass us by on the road some going up and yes some going down, here we sit its what The Driver wants.

so which track are we on?

Then the club should have been honest. It’s the lies that have pissed me off since he was sacked & was the clincher in me not renewing my season ticket. Always love the club but I detest Jon Lansdown & his old man’s attitude to us as fans (sorry customers) only qualification he has to run our club is being born with a silver spoon . He’s a bafoon

Couldnt get to the Gate so Robins TV did the trick. Leroy loves the players and club, particularly Liam. What a great series of opinions about our coach- might be worth that seagul from Weston taking a listen!! I bet a lot of other recent moaners wont be on here tonight.

With a transfer window to come, with Zak our oldest player starting at 26 and with inspired subs like Liam has made tonight i reckon all our season ticket holders will be delighted  and encouraging their mates too join up as well for August; it isnt long now. Up the City!

    Max is 27? i think!

  4. There is no guarantee he will come good next season, certainly not 1st choice at the moment,Antoine's performances have been much more impressive! Looks a little lost at times when i watch Bournemouth. Might go on and become a better player,on the other hand could disappear into obscurity.Either way he does not play for us anymore so i don't really care.

Well done all. That's much more like it.

We've been dreadful in recent weeks - slow, ponderous and negative - and it's been really tough to watch. Loads of us have felt really disillusioned about the direction of travel and worried about the future under Liam Manning if that's the route he wanted to take us down.

This weekend, however, we've felt much more like the Bristol City we've all been watching over the past year or two.

Now I just implore us to stay along that path. Make the odd tweak, by all means, but we're a squad full of pace, aggression and running. Play to our bloody strengths and you'll get the best out of them - as this weekend has shown!

One other thing... Liam Manning's subs in both games have also largely made a really positive difference. So much for not being able to have an impact during the game, eh?

All together now!! "Happy days are here again, the future's bright and clear again, happy days are here again"

  6. A couple of factors the players have had a good rest over the intenational break,we looked full  of energy A punishing schedule and injuries has'nt helped this season.Playing pring and Roberts together strengthened the left side.(something we should have done a long time ago)Now back to the grind we played friday but fans need their holiday football entertainment so we go again monday.

  7. Too complicated! Keep it simple. When we have the ball look for a space to run into.when they get the ball everyone marks the nearest available man, wingers mark fullbacks etc.On set pieces make sure evey man is marked.Give 100% and get stuck in hard but fair.Thats all you need!+ maybe 1 or 2 leaders on the pitch to implement it.
