Anis the Maverick put some words to it if you can he is a legend of the west!

watching the games under manning we seem a lot better in possession(although we are still giving the ball away far too-easily at times)we are playing with confidence and there is a togetherness about the group.our fitness levels our high.i am astounded by the transformation(eating humble pie as i speak) how has LM managed to achieve this in such a short space of time?

Who we’ve not seen play yet.
yes you are right.Just going by what other people are saying and most seem to have a high opinion of him.

how do we know if Rob A and McCrorie will make full recoveries and be back to the same standard they once were? Especially McCrorie who has been through hell.

yeah!i need to work on it!

Come to think of it, "Song for the oldies" is an odd opening line too.

Sad thing is dispite JL'S flippant and insulting two-fingered ignorant answers we are all hoping for 3 points tonight. No one is walking away!

Bill Shakespeare asked to comment after the match said "it was much ado about nothing" he further commented " we won the game so all's well that ends well.

I always said Manning would be judged on results first, performance second, everything else third.
Today wasn’t pretty but they fought to the end, defending to the death against a talented Sunderland team and took the three points.
Having a few ciders to celebrate!
That goes for every manager, what they did today comes from Nige. Full credit to the players,we have got some great 100 percent professionals, LM is lucky to have inherited them.Good luck to him as well!

Manningl recognized we are a mid-championship team at best, lacking the quality and depth needed to compete at the top end of the table.
Soon to be a relegation threatened championship team. Now ruled over by ipads and techno-babble 5points out of 18,lets concede the game to Blackburn by taking off are two best players sykes and knight and replace them with a 17 year old headless chicken and the invisible AW,and lets leave our best midfielder TGH on the bench!

I think we should get rid of LM and bring in Wayne Rooney!
-
When was he last time we won 2 games in a row??
-
Let's just put sykes back on the right wing.

See @ExiledAjax ‘s answer above.
If West Brom (bigger club, far better history) are £60m, who is buying us (smaller club, plus loads of loss making minority interest sports) for £200m?
I reckon we are stuck with JL for the long haul.
I am not suggesting a takeover just a mega-rich investor with an interest in football to help share the financial burden.

How come Delia can bring in an American investor at Norwich? Why can't we do a similar thing?

I think if the two halves were swapped around, we'd all be saying we were robbed/unlucky. Despite reverting to type in the second half, we still had two or three decent opening and should have at least drawn a save from the keeper.
My main takeaway is that the players aren't confident enough in their own ability (and maybe just not good enough - in this game anyway) to carry out the coaches instruction for the entire game.
I appreciate the effort the players are putting in and i know they are all giving 100%.As you say the 1st half performance was excellent and we should have been at least 1 goal to the good. But 2nd half after 2 minutes we fall asleep.Walker-peters had as much room as you get on the portway on a sunday morning, and has that extra quality that our players do not possess. I give credit to our team for trying to implement LM's game plan, but against the top teams we will at the moment always be 2nd best.Against the lesser clubs we should accumulate enough points to stay in the division. I can see that the new management team are hardworking and totally committed 24/7 so well done to them, and i wish them every success,fingers-crossed

Playing well in one half ain't good enough, same old story!
-
It was a great goal! but not an expected goal xg.More like an unexpected goal uxg. Good performance all round from the young man though!
-
Should be a walk over according to JL. Owners beware! of thinking you know more about football than seasoned professionals.(fingers-crossed for a good result)
-
IT JUST DEPENDS NOW ON WETHER THE PLAYERS BUY INTO THE NEW MANAGERS IDEA'S. IT is quite clear after 20 years SL knows nothing about football, and just wants a nicey nicey vibe where everyone gets on,and he is in charge. ok! thats what he has got good luck!

We had 64% possession away from home tonight. When is the last time that happened? I agree with LM we were the only side that looked like winning! Good performance in my opinion.
