I know he isn't everyone's cup of tea but I don't think we should underestimate what a clever player he is and I think he is very important to the way we play. Weimann and Semenyo get the headlines but I question whether they would be as effective without Martin winning those flick ons and making runs to create space. For me he is a forward that we have lacked since maybe Jon Stead (I see them as similar ish others may disagree). I enjoy watching Martin play and in my view we are a far better side with him in it than on the bench. I know he is getting older now so maybe not starting 46 games next season, but for me he has proven to be a good signing and an important player for us.

Hopefully we didn't see them again.

To be fair previously he did tend to just run around a lot - fair play to NP for getting the best of him this season.

With a heavily depleted back line a good result well done Benarous and Bell for stepping in even if our rb sub struggled a bit today.

It's been a much worse season for Stoke than us. They were tipped for promotion, maybe Mr o Neil has been on the Source again.

I thought he was excellent today needs a leader alongside him and that's exactly what Klose is. I would have no qualms with these 2 as our first choice cbs in a 4 next season.

Yes and also I heard Morris would storm the dressing room and bollock the players in front of NP which clearly wouldn't go down well. Add in a disjointed squad on huge wages.

Didn't he cost around 2 million quid? He has never been close to good enough for us and it seems he has struggled in Scotland too.

This is just my opinion. We need to try and let go of those players who aren't playing regularly, this is easy for someone like ODowda who is OOC and surely won't get a new deal, and the likes of Wells,Palmer and Moore who could be difficult to shift due to their high wages. With King, Cundy and Klose OOC I would like us to let these go with expcetion of Klose whose experience is vital. I would be tempted to see any of our high wage players including Kalas leave. I would look at the lower leagues and free agents to try and add some pace to our side especially out wide. The likes of Mckirdy at Swindon etc, young hungry exciting but not high in fees or wages. I don't think Pearson should just go for older free agents as he did this season, I know they have been cheap but the likes of King and Simpson haven't worked. I think we should consider selling Massengo due to his contract situation, ability to get a half decent fee and the fact he isn't a regular starter - and would be tempted to seel Semenyo if we could a high offer for him, Scott I would keep as his value over next season could easily double in my opinion. In terms of signings we need in my view a RB, CB, CM, 2 wingers and a CF.....depending if we can move on the likes of Wells, Palmer and Kalas. Either way I trust Pearson and Gould far more than Ashton and LJ and I'm pleased that the days of 15/20/25k per week signings are over, the likes of Luton etc have shown it just inside necessary.

Firstly I think we should consider selling Massengo and Semenyo, if we could get 15-20 combined that will ease our financial problems hugely.

I would be happy next season with 4 cbs of Klose Atkinson Baker and one other, happy to see Kalas Cundy Moore and Vyner leave. Considering the money made both in sales and wages we should be able to get an established centre half, assuming that that are any takes for the above.

For me I would be tempted to try and move Kalas on to save some wages - add into that selling Moore too, that would save us what 30k in wages? I would be tempted to keep Vyner as very much a spare part to fill in when desperate.

Yes I would sign him up - he has managed to stay injury free which isxso important.
