Please excuse my ignorance, but what is ‘XG’? I keep seeing it mentioned in football analysis, but I’m sure I’m not the only person who hasn’t a clue what it signifies. Can someone enlighten me?

Who was the twelve year old on the Preston subs bench? Number 24. He was shorter than Jay Dasilva! When he was warming up before the match I assumed he was a school kid who had won a competition to be on the pitch with his idols, until I saw that he had a squad number.

Definitely not worth four quid. Probably won’t buy another one. Very disappointed.

You’re right, it was Arbroath… Whilst checking that I came across a story from Madagascar where a team won 149-0! Apparently there was a dispute and the losing team let the other side score at will without interfering with play! Crazy!

The record is 36-0. Aberdeen v Bon Accord in ( I think) the 1880s. Wonder if it’ll ever be broken…

I am a long-standing City supporter and season card holder. I am a pensioner now, and not exact au fait with modern smart phones! I am a bit concerned regarding the proposal to transfer the card onto the phone itself. I would be much much happier if some of us old codgers could please keep it on our old cards!
