A very Pearson win, without wishing to derail the thread - outplayed but no guts, no glory.
And one or two who have a chance of better things by the looks of it. Interestingly, none being the forwards our technical director creams himself over. Imo.
Both Yeboah ( holding and linking play) and Morrison were good. Not sure what game you were watching.

Tomorrow night's game is listed as being shown on the FA Player app/website.
It's free but you'll need to register, I know some will have already done so as they show a lot of the women's games on there.
Thanks! About the only thing left to look forward to this season.

I was actually thinking yesterday watching that match that he would really suit Ipswich and the style of football they play.

The hierarchy have stuck a lot on Manning, I don't see him being in sack territory (from their perspective) yet. 20 League games would be appalling for their credibility.
Did they ever have a semblance of credibility anyway. Even Lansdown himself admits he’s pi55ed 50 million down the drain clutching at straws with very little thorough planning for in between. Others in football circles / agents / representatives who have dealt with us must see past the facade and consider us an absolute joke professionally. Zero credentials at any level.

I wonder if Tinnion questioned his inclusion of Andy King on Saturday?

Interesting confrontation with fan today.
What a sad ***** doing that for a few likes. Good job he’s in public otherwise Diedhiou would’ve torn him a new one

Can’t score, now don’t appear to be able to defend either. I’ve made up my mind, time to go Liam

Non issue. Hope it works out well for him and he scores a load of goals at that level. Didn’t do Bobby Zamora any harm!

Once again we concede more goals with a back 3. This blokes the new LJ-Tinkerman i tell you.
A coaching-manual coach trying to be too clever once again.
FFS.Yeah he's like a cross between him and odriscoll. Box entries, behaviours, being brave and trying to do the right things...couldn't care less tbh, it's a results business and it feels like we are going backwards.

Was he a player Pearson actually wanted?
I've often wondered this too.

Sports 10 stopped working for anyone else?

Leicester players absolutely melted in that atmosphere. Fans definitely swung it in their favour.

Had to pay the victim £13,000 as well. Am I the only one who thinks that’s low and would want much more if someone of his financial status broke my skull ? .
Yeah it's absolutely pathetic. I got more for a hand injury in an RTA.

Do they mention the KO time for the home game, or is that TBC?
Official site says 1pm

Can he be good for us next year? Or more of a sub?
I'd like to think that with a full pre season under Manning we could expect to see him get some minutes from the bench. If he does well then who knows, he's 20 in May so only a couple of years younger than Conway.

Pretty sure his signing-on bonus was a piano for his wife, who was a pro pianist or something like that.
Close but that was for Vilmos Seboks wife - Actually I was getting confused and I am wrong, it was Ivan

Sure I read somewhere he’s just got no interest in these things.
This. My dad used to do business with him when he was down the fruit market and said the same.

They also cut holes in boots. Firminho does it. Something to do with the heel bone.

I firmly believe it makes a positive difference. Maybe I'm wrong or outdated.
Russell Martin made some interesting comments regarding the positive impact of the atmosphere on Tuesday evening.
“The atmosphere here was really good, you see the crowd are really with their team...We felt the energy might go at some point and I think it was on the verge of that when we had the chance, and they made a mistake but then we allow them to score pretty soon after that and, of course, the energy changes. Then they get the second and the energy of the whole place completely changed and then that’s difficult“.
I think that the crowd really can make a difference on the pitch.

The capacity is 26,850 so max should be around 2685.
If they take off segregation and allow for the concourse sharing, it doesn't seem far short of a max allocation.
Fair enough. Have they reduced their capacity because I am sure I have been there before (excluding the FA Cup) and we've had more than that. It's just a bit of shame for what is our 2nd closest away game that's all the will be available.
-
From the OS - 'We have received the full allocation of 2009 tickets.'
West Bromwich Albion away set for priority sale - Bristol City FC (bcfc.co.uk)
What a pathetic allocation! I'm sure we've had at least 1k more in the past.

Isn't this whole thing just promotion for Jons creative design agency?
I like the look of the shirt and I'm looking forward to the boys playing in it on Saturday. I get that it was a significant event in defeating a great team of the time but I agree with others that it's tinpot.

Great cameo. Anyone think he didn’t look as tall as they were expecting though? Wikipedia says he’s 6’ 2’’ but he definitely isn’t.

Yeah he’s not been great the last few has he but overall I think he’s been a fairly decent signing.
