I’ve got a feeling this isn’t related to hooliganism. The San Siro district in Milan has areas which are extremely deprived and full of migrant gangs. I would put my money on this being a robbery.

Jon Lansdown? He was at the game yesterday however I thought he’d be flying back home? (Also, he wouldn’t know how to run a bath)
Flying back home to where? As far as I am aware he still lives locally, even though he may as well just reside in Bermuda permanently.

Hasn’t he been advising the club already?
I don’t think it was ever clarified exactly what he had been doing. Didn’t he just get name dropped in an interview which led to people speculating on this forum?

It’s Raekwon and he went to Fairfield school off Muller Road.

Absolutely bloody loved watching him play for us. The goal against the gas was great but as others have mentioned I always remember this game:
First one by him was great but the second was brilliant.

I like him / the way he tries to play, he’s definitely one to keep an eye on for us. But he ain’t half a “victim” in a lot of his interviews. Every opposition goal is unjust (generalisation), they never get any decisions, etc.
I’d hoped with their previous Hull connections Nige could’ve got him here when the Derby crap was going on.
I always got the impression that Rosenior didn't enjoy his time here.

Can we get our money back on Corndog?
Harry Cornick seems to have become the new scapegoat on this forum. He's no world beater but he's a decent player and we've had far worse in recent memory that have cost a lot more than he has.

Not sure we can play the emergency keeper loan card, Bajic has played a number of games (I think) that would mean he'd need to be out as well.
EFL rules state that ‘all the professional goalkeepers at a club are unavailable,’ due to being unfit to play, suspension or international duty.
However, a ‘professional goalkeeper’ is classed as a player who has been named in the starting eleven on five or more occasions for a Premier League or EFL club in any competitions - excluding the Papa John’s Trophy.
Therefore we we would be allowed as Bajic only has one appearance to his name (Lincoln EFL cup) and Wiles-Richards and Joe Duncan haven't got any. My suggestion of a Premier League keeper wouldn't be permitted though as apparently they are not allowed to send goalkeepers on seven-day emergency loans into the EFL.

Is there really any point in signing another keeper when you can use the emergency loan option should the worst happen. If O'Leary did get a bad injury I assume we would just loan in a keeper from a Premier League team as we would be allowed to do so outside of the transfer window.

Nice lingo
Seriously though, it is possible that TGH is that player. I’m not quite sure myself though….but I’ll see how he’s asked to play first when he plays in midfield (assuming he’s not needed at RB initially). He does have good passing ability. He’s not a dribbler like Scott.
If you watch his 2nd against Salford in pre season (appreciate it's only Salford) he definitely looks like he can take people on and carry the ball.

Pearson clearly likes players who can actually string a sentence together rather than just repeating you know every other word.

@phantom Seeing as nobody has ever heard from him publicly, what was your impression of Phil Alexander?

Seen Leeson a few times for the u23s and he looks very decent going forward. Certainly offered a lot more than Kane Wilson did in that respect.

Ben Achey that’s a new one … For those who were there was Pearson present and could you see Owura Edwards around the first team this year?
It’s Ben Acey, Bath spelled his name wrong on the teamsheet. Centre midfielder - Another one we signed from Guernsey.

Interesting to see Raphael Araoye is training with the first team.
Actually, scrap that, mistaken identity.
I'm pretty sure he's there.

It's not true, Julian left KW a long time before he came famous! His family all moved away as well!
Yeah, he went to Elmlea primary school in Westbury-on trym which would be a long old trek each morning from south Bristol.

I may have missed this in the past but I also heard it mentioned in the Phil Alexander interview - Can someone explain what Scudamore's role is? Is he a non executive director or does he just do some sort of freelance advisory role?
-
I think he certainly merits a call up however I suspect he will be overlooked due to playing for a club outside of the Premier League (as is usually the case).

You’re talking Tommy, I presume.
Conway hasn’t had any loans. I think the OP is referring to Cam Pring.

Had a quick look earlier, noticed Idehen was starting.
Where do we think he ranks in 1st team squad consideration- fallen down it somewhat I assume?
I think we can assume he’s burnt his bridges with Nige

Looks like once again the u21 team mirroring the first XI in terms of our new shape.

How many many players in the last 50 years can we measure against Alex Scott is that is your yard stick
It’s not, I just said that would be a good example for use of the term. I suppose it all comes down to how easily you are impressed.

More cost cutting for the sake of it. I hope that this is either a) a temporary measure until the end of the season or b) not doing anything about it immediately as there is a takeover in the pipeline which will mean another reorganisation.
