  1. Also the midfield being completely over run which could contribute to individual defensive errors.
  2. 1. How many of those were progressive? Wonder what the stats were for O'Driscoll - context more important than numbers. 2. Which leaves us far too open at the back, the stat is negative not positive considering we are conceding chance after chance could easily have been 5 yesterday. 3. So lower than last season and still conceding hatfulls of chances. 4. Yep a positive. 5. Got bullied yesterday.

DaSilva isn't dynamic enough to play at wing back, most wing backs are aggressive, physical and direct and Jay is none of those things.
  4. Can't see him leaving Luton for us.
  5. Yes - clearly we have failed to address the poor elements of our games last season. Weak midfield that is too easily overrun - tick. Defensive mistakes, chances galore against us and too many goals concedeed- tick. Losing games from winning positions - tick. NP has signed the players, this is largely his squad, he needs to take responsibility.
  6. His reputation was going down the pan and be realised this may be his last chance to prove himself at Championship level. 5 years ago NP wouldn't have touched BCFC, but after dire time at derby and in Belgium, plus an unsuccessful but challenging gig at Watford, his career trajectory is firmly downhil. He hasnt arrested that slide with us. So ultimately I think he had every reason to take us on, a solid Championship side on a poor run giving him the opportunity to try and turn around his flagging managerial career.
  7. I think we are in big trouble.
  8. Yep can't imagine there are many sides worse than us.
  9. We are far too open and we don't have the players to make this system effective especially defensively.
  10. We look like we've made little progress which is the biggest concern.

Makes you wonder why he hasn't been starting.
  12. He has come from a team who were in the playoffs and voted as player of the season, you may not see that as credit in the bank, but others will. If he turns to shit then obviously things and mindsets will change. I'm surprised he is in thd middle too.

He can be as class as anything the key, as we have seen, is the collective. The danger is that his quality dips as he struggles to play with those around him.
  14. Some players have credit in the bank, him being one, Kalas is another who gets less criticism.....one argument is that he has Had 1 poor game, where as the likes of Vyner, Massengo etc don't seem to be learning.
  15. There were times when he had numerous options and just held on to the ball far too long and got tackled. His distribution is Downs standard both in terms of delivery and the length of time he holds on to the ball.
  16. Up and down, aggressive, breaks up play but can pick a pass, haven't seen it last 2 games.
  17. I dont get the Massengo hype - looks like he will leave for £0 too, another Ashton masterclass.
  18. Williams hasn't looked at his best so far this season.
  19. Feels like a repeat of last season, lack of confidence and poor decision making costing us goals, not to mention the amount of chances we continue to conceed. Last season we were saved my some dire sides, can't see many worse than us at the moment.
  20. You can have a ton of good games but if you still lose them it ends up being irrelevant.
  21. The knives are beginning to sharpen- I don't think he should go upstairs a fresh direction needed IF he ended up losing his job.
  22. We were saved last season by some poor teams and points deductions - unfortunately there doesn't seem to be the same level of dross this season.
  23. Sell Scott and reinvest in squad. Otherwise its going to be a horrible season.
