Thanks for the heads up. Good to know they have dedicated a decent amount of the show to the women's team. I support them too.

It's very different to how we played in the Championship. We tried to keep playing that way but got hammered by Man City and changed to a much more defensive set up. It almost immediately worked and results picked up but dropped off and January signings at West Ham vs the ones we made have made quite a difference.
Plus, in fairness, injuries to Furness, Layzell and others haven't helped.

This is hard to watch...
Certainly from our point of view but Layzell and Furness returning is excellent

I particularly enjoyed the rousing rendition of `you`re shit ahhhhhh` from what sounded like a busload on a school trip!
Young people at football? Madness.

I spotted them in the family area. Definitely the same ones going round the other stands. I assumed some film about the robins foundation day celebrations.

Wouldn’t be Twitter. Targeted ads on there are pretty much non existent (all of mine are of Jeremy Clarkson and Zoe Ball telling me to invest in BitCoin). Targeted ads on Facebook though are another matter - I’m getting loads of City ones on there every time I log in (noting Facebook is pretty much wall to wall ads at the best of times)
There is an easy solution there. Look for the delete button.

I don't feel oversold to, certainly not more than other years.
Looking at the Twitter/X account and the Instagram account for the club, there appears to be one pinned post on each.

It's hard to imagine him being less effective than one particular contributor to the left wing today.

Canadian international, plays in midfield. This announcement came out of nowhere, especially as Lauren said in her press conference today that the transfer window was going slower than she thought!
A compilation from her time in Sweden...
In fairness, it seemed very clear to me that Lauren thought there was a signing very close indeed.

Lauren's press conference today ahead of Brighton.
Seems pretty clear she is wanting signings as much as we are.

Based on his stats (which i know you can’t always judge by) at this level, i would argue he hasn’t done enough for his price to of increased. Burnley overpaid for him to begin with in my opinion, but due to parachute payments they were able to do so without it being a massive risk.
I think anyone buying him now aren’t buying him for what he has done so far at this level, but more so for what he done at MK & Newport with the apparent potential to do the same at this level. So in my opinion his value hasn’t increased higher than the money Burnley paid, if anything i think £4mil would be a million too much.
Burnley may very well want at least £5mil but they would struggle to find a buyer at that price.
OK but Burnley won't see it that way and they are part of the negotiation.
So you go back to them with discussions on loan to buy with a loan fee etc.

If Burnley were to get relegated i could see them wanting close to that as they may use him in this league next year, but if they stay up i can’t see them demanding that as i don’t see how anyone would pay that much, especially as they only paid £4mil themselves.
Why would his price not have increased by a million?
Arguably, they'd want at least that.

It’s not harsh at all though, can you remember his stint as manager when he was involved in transfers? He’s great with the acadmey, but shouldn’t be in the job he currently has.
Based on your conjecture of what this possible deal might be?

Amusingly enough, it's possible to defend someone against harsh criticism even if you aren't that person.

A loan would be stupid, we have zero chance of winning the play-offs and very very unlikely to finish top 6.
If it was a permanent deal for around £3mil in this window or the summer then fair play, but a loan in January (when we must assume we would be paying a fair wedge for it considering Burnley would be recalling him from Hull) then wow……we all know Tinnion is absolutely clueless (as his awful stint back in 2004/2005 shown) but this would seem a dumb way of using some of the finances that the club worked so hard on sorting over the past 3 years.
Very harsh on Tinnion and he is doing a different job now.

@shahanshahan do you have to sit in your ticket stated seat today?
Yes. Well, you can sit somewhere else as long as it's not someone else's seat. It's not sold out.

I have thoroughly enjoyed watching Andi play for us over the years. Sorry to see him go but probably a decent move for all.
Here's hoping it's freeing up financial space for someone to unlock defences. Prem loan anyone?

Can’t see why the club don’t let me upgrade my granddaughters ticket to adult one. Can’t see her coming when she’s up at 7 for school next day.
Surly it makes sense to allow me to pay a tenner rather than £5.I believe it's partly due to safeguarding in the family area. You are only supposed to be there with children.
At least, that's what they told me when I upgraded my daughters for a mate one match and they made us move out of the family area.

Obviously, it is in the interest of a manager to put forward arguments for sticking with managers.

It's not really fair when she has been fast tracked through the system when good male referees have achieved their end of season marks and continually not been considered for promotion to the next level.
There are good ones?

Given how young a coach he is, Manning is probably an electric car.
In which case everyone is needlessly worrying about the unknown and he's actually brilliant and nothing to worry about.
Just to stretch the metaphor beyond breaking point.
