It's hardly sensible management of players or fan expectations to say someone is going to be.a like for like to replacement...even if it were likely that we could get such a replacement for someone like Scott. Knight certainly forms part of the team if Scott stays and is even more important in that team if Scott goes.

And a pre-seasoned Mehmeti might well soften the blow of the attacking side.

I would be suprised if we didn't see people asking for a new chairman if every single penny of the Scott money isn't spent on a transfer fee for a player who is as good as Alex SCott.

I suspect that there are lots of conversations going on with womens contracts still painfully short and with the season still some way off, there is no great rush.
