This isn’t a replacement for Scott. If he goes I’d imagine we’d get another positive playing midfielder in.

Saka is ridiculous. With him and Bellingham, we've got some genuine world class players
Shame we don’t have a manager at the same calibre.

What a test match. Be careful not to leak to many run’s trying to get wickets .
-
We were well short in that second innings. The pitch is offering nothing. Plenty got in and didn’t push on. That’s cost us unfortunately.
-
We need to take every chance. That’s one missed already.

I expected rave reviews on their site after comments on here. But more reserved than I thought they’d be. One comment saying 2m might even be enough.
I know next to nothing about him so can’t comment really.

I've just read through a few pages and the consensus seems to be that Alex Scott isn't a very good player. Baffling.
I guess it's some people's way of dealing with him leaving.
And then I read posts about people panicking that we won't find a buyer cos there hasn't been any news. The premier league season finished 2 week ago. 3 premier league clubs have had games in the past week.
The transfer market has only just started to wake up from its winter hiatus.
Alex's season has only just finished.
100% he'll be leaving this summer. Might mot be this week or next, but he'll be leaving.
I suggest reading it again. Nowhere does it say Alex Scott isn’t a good player.

I think there are a small minority of our fans that struggle with the concept that Scott is NOT an attacking midfielder and should NOT be judged against the output of other attacking midfielders
But should still be judged on output. Not putting the lad down as disappointed I’m not going to see him next season. However his “ stats” don’t read amazing when you’re asking for 25 million.
It’s win win for us. We sell we get a big cash offer and set the club up for the immediate future and if he stays he can help us push for top 6.
Normally you are worried about losing your best player however very relaxed about this one.

He seems like a genuinely nice lad. Good person to have around the club for sure.

This signing players malarkey is getting a bit boring!

Sad lot those Aberdeen fans eh! Anyway welcome Ross. Look forward to seeing where you fit in and how you progress.

Not quite sure I align to the general feeling that he is the next target on the list below Bryan.
For me he seems to be a CB who's played on the left for Derby.
Yes I see this another sign we are looking at 3/5 at the back.

And I'm in Cardiff seeing Coldplay who come on stage at 8pm, so get on the roof!
Couldn’t be anymore jealous. Saw them in London last year. A life highlight. Gutted couldn’t get tickets again.

Can play LWB or in a back three. Another sign we could go back to that formation.

Good bit of business I reckon. Welcome Rob.

Very shrewd business. Obviously needs a fresh challenge and If we can get him back to how he was playing it would be a snip of a price. Obviously may struggle with pace but have some pace around him and he will be fine. Gotta love a ball playing centre half.
I do wonder if we may see us going back to a 352 system a little more often.

I haven’t seen one person write him off. It’s ok to have an opinion on a potential signing without it meaning that you want him to fail or that you’ve written him off.

Seems an awful lot of money. Add Aberdeen fans being split on him I struggle to be overly excited by this. That said we obviously see something in him so look forward to seeing what he can do.

I cannot congratulate Luton. Or Coventry if they had won. I find it embarrassing and if I'm honest a little bitter.
It wasnt that long ago Luton were in the Conference. 5 bloody years!
Then you had Coventry. Slowly going down the leagues, ending up in League 2 and often homeless.
Both make our outfit look like amateurs
Unfortunately we have an amateur owning our football club. With him in charge we will never get promoted.
I didn’t mean to come across so bloody miserable The suns shining, its bank holiday weekend and the drinks are flowing. Life is good. Enjoy all!

People knocking these teams . Both considerably better than us over this season. And I’m sure the thought of them struggling is really going to bother them when they get to experience something that many of us haven’t experienced in our lifetime.
