  1. Why we stopped playing this regularly down the gate I'll never understand. They play it at Charlton, remember last time we went there a load of us had a good sing a long
  2. The like has just been removed
  3. You know things are bad when the admin like your tweet - Manning out
  4. We were rubbish in all honesty. This seriously can't be allowed to continue, Manning is hopeless, totally out of his depth. The points return and quality of football since he's come in say's it all. Wouldn't trust him with a fiver to rebuild this summer, Mebude unused again.. what a waste of a loan fee. 10mins to go, he brings on 2 defenders FFS
  5. In proper gas uniform there.. No doubt shite stonewashed jeans and cheap slazenger trainers on the lower half.
  6. I could be that... I've done F-all too
  7. Anyone give a reason why Ltn Cmdr Data (manning) deserved the Job in the first place... Or why he still deserves to be paid by us? Had a below average rate of playing home grown talent.. No achievements in mens football. Has contrived to take us straight down the pits and bored us whilst doing it. Absolute show.
  8. I've no doubt he'll have a terrific loan and will score/create plenty - he'll have to much for that level in my opinion And good luck to him. My issue is I'd rather he got minutes with us this season, as raw as he is, he's honest and direct, I'd rather him than Cornick, Mehmeti & Mebuda.
  9. I think the sticking point is this move has taken minutes/exposure away from Yeboah in favour of bringing in another youngster on loan... Doesn't send a good message to the academy. Also, from what we've seen, Yeboah is bigger, quicker and much more direct and brave than Mebuda. Also, I'd say that national League South is a step or 2 to low for very promising 17yr old with 12 championship sub appearances to his name.
  10. Not at all happy with this. He should be getting the minutes/exposure that we've ridiculously brought Mebude in to take. Mebude has absolutely nothing more than our own Yeboah has got from what we've seen so far. A pathway blocking loan in my eyes. Good luck to Eph at Bath, think they've got a steal.
  11. I'd personally not like to see us return to unsustainable spending, no. I'd not really take the transfer dealings of his time at Forest to seriously though, not entirely sure he had much input into that circus act.
  12. Hugely hypothetical at this time, but... If the club were to dismiss Manning now, I'd love us to go for Cooper, do I think either are likely? Not a chance for either. I don't think they'd sack Manning, the ego's won't allow it. And I don't think they'd go for Cooper, makes to much sense.
  13. I think he's well & truly out of his depth and the sooner he's gone, the better. He has achieved nothing in mens football, and was dismissed from MK Dons after a huge drop in form - the given reason is they sold Twine and didn't replace - this for me has huge alarm bells ringing... We are a club that bases our business model on selling big & reinvesting cheaper. Manning's CV is - sold, couldn't replace and got sacked! Yesterday was my 10th away game of the season, I'm also a season ticket holder. The absolute s***show I saw yesterday is still infuriating me now!! Those players were arguing amongst themselves, looked very poorly coached and our fitness levels have dropped massively - they are not as fit as they were under Nige - just maybe he knew what he was doing with giving them regular breaks from training I would also say the body language of those players indicated they aren't playing for him, or at the least have no confidence in him. For me, I'd replace him today and offer it to King for remainder of season. And it goes without saying that Tinnion needs dropping back to academy and we find a proper DofF.
  14. True. But, the arguement against your point is we haven't had any success or entertainment value playing a possession based game under Manning.. I don't believe we have the players to do that. When a team sits back is generally when the stadium falls asleep and social media erupts ... Because it's boring to watch and the result will be poor. Can Manning sign players so we can play both styles and have an answer for all circumstances? Time will tell
  15. What a brilliant result and performance tonight Biggest takeaway for me - the change in style over last few weeks. I'd say West Ham away was the noticeable difference, we were playing a quality side who simply wouldn't let us play the boring keep ball we have been under Manning, so we reverted to counter attacking football to a degree, and had some success. Over the last few weeks, I've seen us move back to a counter attacking side - these players were signed for this style under Nige - and we look a million miles better for it, we look far more dangerous and it's definitely more entertaining to watch. Tonight, those midfielders were tackling hard and snapping into every lose pass before we absolutely went forward at pace... Last seen at Swansea away before the injuries! This, for me is the style I want to see and what these players are best at. Always a side that has that late surge into playoffs
  16. With the Yellow Subbers, had a few great trips.
  17. Good afternoon all, Are any of you aware of any private coach travel ran by fans? Not CATS, far to strict for me. Looking for any that don't mind a few tins on the journey, pub stops etc. Used to travel on the coaches from Weston which were brilliant for this. If any could point me in a direction that would be great
  18. Andy King was very, very good last night
  19. Just got mine and showing as 1700 left... That's over a thousand in 5mins. - unless I'm missing something A massive under allocation.
  20. Thought the rules were 15% of total capacity up to a max of 9k? We should be closer to 4.5k Also needs addressing why were being hit for £17 when they had it as a tenner.

    Max

I thought he was brilliant tonight. Positioning was superb and was his distribution
  22. As decisions from board level go - sacking NP, with the outrageous reasons given - was an absolute howler. Proper . We had sold players for big money, replaced on the cheap, both in terms of fees paid and presumably wages, we also were in the midst of a stinking injury crisis, yet, for the most part, fans were onboard and we had (very minimally) improved. The football under NP, certainly when we had Semenyo & Scott was good - blistering counter attacking football AT PACE. Talk of us having a top 6 squad is quite frankly, mugging off the intelligence of the paying fan base & something I'll not be in any hurry to forget or forgive. Manning will need time & money to make his style of football work.... Hopefully he will get the time/cash to make it work, ultimately I'll always be a City fan, I'll always travel the country and spend my hard earned money. But.. What is currently being served up is an absolute snoozefest, it's so slow, so turgid and so predictable and I don't enjoy watching it. Mr Lansdown, Tins, do you still feel we have a top 6 squad? And are you happy with our style of football as we are... Being the players didn't need changing in your opinions?
