I noticed in the press conference after we beat Southampton, Manning made a quip about Vyner needing to score more goals like Dickie. It struck me as an odd thing to say, especially considering our strikers have been so bad. I might be reading too much into it, but if I was Vyner it would have p1ssed me off.

The only person benefitting from this whole debacle is Tinnion. Since Pearson's sacking he's been elevated to "Tecknical" Director, touted as the next CEO and had this famous goal and win against Liverpool in the FA Cup commemorated in front of the fans at Ashton Gate. He's a complete narcissist and his dark arts have lead to this moment.

More like Tinnion as interim manager! I wouldn't put it passed them.

I'm sorry, but Manning doesn't get a free pass. He took the job, despite knowing the unrealistic expectation of reaching the playoffs. The recent results are on him.

At one point today we passed the ball across the back for about 5 minutes until we eventually misplaced a pass and lost possession. I really dont get it

Twine was never going to drag us into the playoffs I would have rather seen the money spent on bringing in more younger players like Stokes, Bird, Murphy etc. Mebude is worth the gamble, but BT & LM really should have managed fans expectations considering his lack of experience

I found Tommys interview thoroughly depressing and odd. It reminded me of someone being held hostage.

Every interview he does feels the same and just sounds robotic. Conway's interview was depressing too.

Birmingham and Millwall stand out for me. Both teams were on the verge of sacking their managers too

If we weren’t promised top six I think Manning would have been given an easier ride.
