I don't think it's shop stock. I don't remember seeing them in there when I went in for the Rotherham game. I'd assumed this was something they'd put on to get people using up points

It’s probably boxes of odds and sods that they’ve got hanging around and want rid of

I know, it still says 23/24. I didn't think for a moment it was the new ticket. I was just trying to answer the OP.

Yes I wasn’t particularly replying to your comment, I was more backing what you said

Yeah fair play, it’s an absolute disgrace they’ve failed to achieve the unrelenting success that has so often been synonymous with the men’s team.

A Bristol City team getting relegated? There will be shockwaves being felt all around the world of football at that.

Stuff the thousands of people that have watched them at Ashton Gate this season at a time when the women’s game is growing exponentially, change their name and send them back to Stoke Gifford. We can’t have the decades of success that Bristol City have been associated with tarnished.

No effort was made by the club to give the team a chance of staying up.

I think next season will see a very tough championship and after such a torrid season I think the side will need to start well and build confidence.

They will be seen as a scalp to take by others so they will have to be mentally and physically up for the battle.

I’m not convinced I’ve seen enough from the manager to suggest she is the right fit but I think you have to give her the chance to get the team going again.

Interested to see the attendances next season, bound to be some drop off due to relegation but how big a drop off will be interesting.

I think all new managers who take over mid season need a pre season to get their points across and add some players, I agree re:changing in game however I think he’s improved.

I agree partly with the points you make, however he made a rod for his own back by trying to implement a style that didn’t suit the squad.

I think that was a poor decision and rather naive.

He was always going to be judged more harshly due to the way NP exited but I don’t think he helped himself in the early stages here.

He tried to change too much too soon, whether there was pressure from above to do that, who knows

Quite possible, but nothing wrong with that. Schumacher did the same thing at Stoke.

Yes, will be interesting to see who he brings in over the summer - Twine has made a difference.

It concerned me that it took so long to make the change.

I’m not against LM, he’s in charge now so regardless of what people think about his appointment or the way NP was treated, you have to move on.

I’ve said before on here that good coaches will adapt and deploy tactics suitable to the squad they have at their disposal and it took too long to go to the style that suited this squad.

I have also been concerned that in game adaptability and change hasn’t happened when clearly things weren’t working.

Like I said I’m not against LM but I’m yet to be convinced

If that’s the case then well done to Manning for adapting and making positive progress.

Went against his footballing ideas to save his job more like

    7-0 🤦🏻‍♂️

There’s such a gulf between the teams but there seems to be very little organisation out on the pitch.

You can be poor but at least be organised.

Is Smith the right person to be leading the team next season ?

2 nil down already. 😕 Can barely find a pass. Same problems. Not sure what LS is going to differently next season. It needs changing.

They just look so weak physically compared to Chelsea.

I see no game plan apart from defend and sadly they’re not very good at that

    31 May. Fill your boots.

BTW last year they introduced a £5 shop voucher about this time, so if you are going to waste your points on tat draws, maybe wait a while. Obviously I've still got last years £5 voucher as I couldn't find anything worth spending it on.

    I’m exactly the same 😂

Trust me I'd say it to your faces all 3 of you at the same time. I'm not shy mate at all

you are all calling me out jumping on board and you genuinely don't know how vile a club that is

I didn’t start on you but you felt the need to be abusive !

If the club is so vile then why have anything to do with it, including being on this forum ?

You’re making spurious comments about how you’d tell me to go **** myself and how vile this club is.

It’s not big and if you weren’t entertaining me I’d put you on ignore X

it's got nothing to do with you.

You already showed me how wet and limp wristed you are yesterday.

People on here trying to tell you how it is  when you've had a massive insight into it for yourself.

You’re posting on an open forum so ultimately it’s got something to do with everybody reading it.

No need for anybody to make offensive comments and ultimately if you didn’t want anyone else to form an opinion or contribute to the thread then private message.

Yes but i went to see a good finish to the season although there was nothing to gain i didnt realise we were watching a charity match ?

Well you saw a victory so surely you must see that as a good finish.

I don’t think TGH would have had such a game changing affect that it would have been any different.

Andy King came on after 81 minutes for a farewell appearance, he was one of the five allowed changes we made so I’m struggling to see your issue really.

If your talking like that why didnt he give minutes to mubude as we wont see him again .

What has Mebude done for this club, the two careers at this club and their input are not comparable

TGH hasent had a look in for weeks your playing two slow midfielders in james anw williams you need some one in there that can run all players come to the end of the road so ten mins wouldave been fine they all came round the pitch after the game and got applause so my thoughts thatt was enough .

Well TGH has been injured for a start and perhaps bearing in mind LM sees the players day in day out and knows what injuries and niggles they’re carrying he saw no real need to take any great risks with TGH.

Yesterdays game against Rotherham would have no bearing on next season, it was a dead rubber game

Exactly bring him on for ten minutes but play players who are our future TGH  knight etc nice that hes a city fan but so am i but id rather manning be looking at players of the future .

Do you think Manning would find out anything he didn’t already know about TGH if he’d been on the pitch yesterday for the number of minutes Andy King was ?

It was the right thing to do in the circumstances and I’d imagine that the majority of supporters yesterday would think that

Best points tally in their history and in the Premiership .. with arguably 3 of our best past players in their squad in Kelly, Semenyo and Scott… We are never gonna get there are we? Not in my lifetime anyway. ☹️

Some talk that Kelly is off to Newcastle

A bit odd having drawings of them done by a load of schoolies , imagine that was for the men whilst getting relegated.

    Proper piss take it seems

It’s all part of family day, was the same yesterday for the men’s fixture

There's not tonnes of parking at the ground, athough you'd probably be able to find somewhere that's not too far to walk and there is a bus stop pretty close by, which is how I got there for the game in August.

Could probably get a space at the ground if you get there 40+ minutes before kickoff, but not a guarantee.

From memory I think it was £10 to get in for their games this season.

I go and watch Farm rather than Cribbs, but £10 is pretty standard across the division. Only Frome and maybe Wimborne are the ones that I know were charging more.

Cribbs have averaged about 160 for their home games, but when the 2 sides met in August the crowd was about 560 and there were people still being let in 15 minutes after kick off. I can see it being a bigger crowd again because of a spot in the playoff final being at stake, but hopefully they're better prepared this time!

Thanks for the info, I was wondering if they’d get access to the Bristol Saracens car park for some extra spaces

Crikey, we score. Okay, it's an OG and we're 3-0 down, but I didn't see that finish coming.

I can’t say I watch all the ladies matches but they clearly try but the truth is the club have set them up to fail this season.

The club are lucky that so many people are willing to go and pay to watch a no contest.

Even with relegation confirmed and 3-0 down it’s still 5 at the back with no real attempt to get forward.

Change formation and have a go and give the fans something to cheer.

For those of you with greater knowledge, do you see Lauren Smith as being the right coach to lead next seasons campaign?

Wednesday night, Cribbs vs Bristol Manor Farm in the Southern League Div 1 playoffs.

A couple of miles between the clubs and no love lost either.

When they met at Cribbs in August the hosts came off the victors, but Farm were aggrieved over several decisions in that game including 2 penalty decisions and a red card incident.

A month or so later they met again in the league cup at Manor Farm, this time a draw but Cribbs got the job done on penalties.

They played at Farm again in March. A packed out Creek making lots of noise saw a comfortable win for the home side who have been on a run of 9 wins in 11 games to make the playoffs.

Wednesday night they meet for the 4th time this season, with the highest stakes of the lot.

If anyone is wanting a bit more football before the season ends and doesn't like the interference of things like VAR I would absolutely recommend going down there for it even as a neutral.

Mods- I know we have the non league thread, but would appreciate it if this was kept separate for a couple of days to see if it gets any interest.

I fancy this, what’s it like for parking etc and how much is entry ?
