    Pathetic.

She had more balls than most refs for dealing with blatant cheating by time wasting.

    Good on her, I say.

Huddersfield fans saying things like this and far worse are disgusting.

Let’s hope the referees they have for the rest of the season agree and don’t show them any leniency

FWIW I’ve not looked at any stats for Twine, what I’ve seen with my eyes is enough.  I think suggesting Twine is behind our results, and him being out behind the losses is a big reach (my opinion).  Against Leicester he wasn’t on the pitch when we scored for example.  I’m not convinced his inability to retain the ball under challenge is much to do with a makeshift defence.  I’m not sure what the reason was for his other peripheral performances have been.

Who knows, maybe he has a storming final 3 games, but I’ve been hugely underwhelmed so far.

Sorry to be so down on this one.  I was really excited to see him in a City shirt having thought we missed out on him previously.

I agree to a very small extent….But It cost us to find out.  I don’t expect recruitment to nail it every time, but I’d hope it wouldn’t always take a loan (with loan fee and wages) to find out.  Ditto Mebude.

I still think we will try to get him too.  I bloody hope not though.

They’d have to give us some £millions too imho! 😉

I think Tommy would do well there with the number of chances they’re likely to create next season if they do come down

Probably because he struggles to be available 25% of the time.

How on earth do you plan a formation based in any way on a bloke who managed to start 9 league games this season & 23 last?

I didn’t say we’d ever see it but there is no doubt that Naismith is a more progressive and braver passer of the ball than the other two

Firstly its about time we had some luck with penalties so I'm bit complaining after all the stone wall pens we didn't get.

However if we were fighting for precious 3 points, I'd fully expect our players to waste as much time as possible too.

Maybe yesterday was an example of why time wasting isn’t always the best way to go though

    As opposed to who?

We’ve loaned Lewis Thomas to Bromley (not exactly sure what’s going on there) & the rest of our keepers are kids.

Be amazed if we don’t sign a far more experienced back up keeper this summer.

I know we haven’t seen him play much but Mebude isn’t a goalkeeper and that’s who we were talking about

Refs position as good as you could hope for, because Lino is not gonna be able to help her.  She gave it, there must’ve been enough in it for her.  She showed yesterday she reffed to the rules.

I don’t understand why so many of our fans feel so hard done by for Huddersfield.

The refs given it and that’s it, over the course of the season they’ll of had decisions go for them and go against them.

Just like we have and just like every other team in the league will have.

Thats football and it’s how it’s always been.

Today it went in our favour, next week it might not.

Most of all though what minute it occurred in and Huddersfield’s position in the league are totally irrelevant.

To have not said how many have sold to date if they are going well is beyond bizarre. On Tuesday it’s one week until renewal date and if that’s not met with a campaign of “Join the xxx who have renewed already”, I think it’s safe to say we’re a long way down from what the club hoped.

Well I haven’t renewed yet for mine and my sons U19 in the Dolman Centre.

I’m sure I will just because it’s something we do together and with his ever increasing social life that is far busier than mine I still want to have some time with him.

Hopefully in years to come he’ll do the same with his kids and they see some success.

But I will wait till the last moment to do it and I’m certainly not convinced we’ll see better football next season.

But 5 of his mates have U19 season tickets in the Dolman Centre and only one of them is renewing.

I know it’s a bit different for them as they are starting to work and play men’s football but they’ve been week in week out this season and done quite a few away games, but at this time they’re not being drawn back next season and I think that’s a shame as ultimately they are the future.

Rumour that he's already agreed to sign for a French club in the summer, if that's true could explain why the club has no interest in given him minutes

Then why put him on the bench at all ?????

Common sense should prevail, to give a penalty in the 98th minute like that to a team in their position is sickening and we would all be fuming if it was us.

Football is regressing as a whole.

If the ref thinks it’s a penalty then the minute of the game and the conceding teams circumstances are irrelevant.

We’d certainly be fuming if we were down in a relegation scrap and one of the teams we were battling with got three points because the referee didn’t want to award a penalty against them due to the minute of the match and their precarious position in the league

Never a penalty and common sense should prevail in these circumstances. That could send Huddersfield down. Pretty disgraceful

Maybe next time they won’t feign injury and try to time waste in the added time and they wouldn’t have still been on the pitch to concede the penalty. No sympathy for them and ultimately one penalty over the course of a season won’t be what sends them down

Do tend to agree, I still think Naismith in deeper midfield isn't a must but could definitely if fully fit serve us well there.

I don’t think we’d be so slow to transition with Naismith in a deeper midfield position but I fear that isn’t in LM’s master planning

Agree I'm not totally against it, provided the availability and opposition align well.

Players such as McCrorie and Pring in the first instance can play as full backs and wing backs. Tanner and Roberts less so, at this stage certainly.

A player such as Naismith can move between a back 3 with wingbacks and a deep midfielder in this shape.

Vyner, Dickie, Atkinson,Naismith. These can all play in a back 3 or 4..

I'm talking in-game as well as game v game.

I'd rather not Sykes at wingback as it feels like he is wasted there.

(I know Tanner, McCrorie, Roberts moreso and even in extremis King and Pring can play in a back 3 but that is going right down the list after injuries etc)?).

Just shows what flexibility and fluidity we could have if we didn’t have such frustrating injury problems

Are we dreadful in a 4? The results are varied to say the least..a 4-3-3 with Sykes in a natural position feels more comfortable.

We certainly looked better in the 4 today.

I think we could use both effectively if LM was willing to be flexible dependant on player availability and opposition etc

Real progress! Top six squad we were told! Progressive appointment….sorry a couple of scrappy results isn’t convincing me (and I include a 5.0 win in that which for me was almost as bad a performance as some of the others…gifted 5 goals and created little ourselves). Worried for next season, he will get the summer and first 10 games for me but I’m not convinced he is any better than LJ.

I’d say the season was finished before just 3 games to go

I've just read the Manning quote saying about not playing King there ' not in my time here' or something like that. Am I reading too much into that or is there a slight dig at Pearson? Obviously King is such a Pearson player and he doesn't want to use him as Pearson did, but wants to find his own solution? Just seems a strange thing to say.

I’m not sure it’s a dig but perhaps he wants to be seen to create his own solutions to problems instead of doing something his predecessor did.

I may be totally wrong but it should be about what’s best for the team and not his own coaching reputation.

No but neither have I seen the other one , just their history of getting fairly easy ones.

Well I think you’ll find both decisions are probably right today

I agree with you there. No need to move so many players out of position at all.

I thought LM had started to move away from that recently because it certainly hindered us.

I hope he’s not slipping back into these decisions.

I know we had CB issues today but that issue could have been resolved without so many positional changes

Just reading about the Bournemouth v Man utd match. Unsurprisingly Man utd are awarded a penalty but Bournemouth in the last minute with the score 2 - 2 are not!

Have you seen the Bournemouth penalty shout ?

I don't think we would have got 90 (or 100) minutes out of him though?

True but we changed from 3 at the back to a back 4 at half time anyway so that might not have been an issue.

The way we set up today was again playing too many people out of position and the selection of King or even Knight-Lebel would of alleviated that problem.
