  1. Think this was a harsh decision I don't think their squad is noticeably better than anyone who finished above them. Although its nice to know if things go tits up (or go too well) next season there will be a good manager waiting in the wings. Has a connection to the club through his father as well.
  2. This should probably be asking "Joe Williams or Matty James" because I don't think there is any chance we keep both since we'd likely have too many in midfield. Knight, TGH, Bird, Williams, Naismith and then cover from Roberts and maybe Ross. I voted no since I slightly favour Joe mainly due to being a little younger.
  3. I was honestly thinking about a loan Brest might not mind loaning him up a level if they consider his time in L1 a success. Brest will either be in the champions league or Europa league next year, so unlikely he stays and features much there. Yeah I agree with your point on the physicality, which is why Rudoni would be the preferred option but he won't be easy to bring.
  4. Wouldn't mind Rudoni or Karamoko Dembele. Both left footed which we desperately need Manning has shown he likes to play left-footed players on the right and right-footed players on the left. The Mehmeti "chance" today was a good example of why, if he had a left-foot he might've shot rather than attempting to check back onto his right.
  5. If the budget is tough I wouldn't be surprised if we try and loan in a striker from a premier league club. Not sure how many names there are out there I know Liam Delap will have a lot of suitors come the summer transfer window so he's likely out the question. Shot in the dark but Chido Obi is a name I've been hearing about a lot recently Arsenal youth player and scores goals for fun but likely a year or two too early for him. I hope our fanbase isn't burned on inexperienced youth player loans because of the Mebude move.
  6. Thought I'd make an account here I've been ghosting for a while, but since the season is over and want to get involved in a few discussions come next season. On Twine personally I've liked what I've seen throughout his time here especially the way he slips players in behind which I think is something we've struggled to do consistently. Also, the odd free kick here and there is nice. £2.5 - £3.5 million and I think we get a good deal. Maybe if Burnley stay up I wouldn't right them off they've looked good recently.
