Dickie and Vyner are undoubtedly the best CB partnership certainly since Webster/Kalas but other than that I couldn't name a better Bristol City Champ level defence in the my 25 years as a fan.

    They are rock solid.

    Ah yes, Webster and Kalas.

The thought alone is enough for me to get my Dickie out.

    🍆💦

Appreciated mate. I've never made any secrets about my health issues. I posted on the "I'm not very well thread and nowhere else to go" thread in August, and openly said how I have tried to kill myself on numerous occasions. At the time, it was two, it's now three. I'm naturally always very lonely, unhappy and feel useless. Don't get me wrong, I have a nice house, lots of pets, a growing business, but I'm always depressed and constantly wish I was dead. It's not a nice way to feel, but when you feel useless, and worthless, it eats at you, and sometimes you read stuff, and it may be banter, it may be forum comments, but it's hard not to take things personally, when that's the way your head works. I try to do all I can for others and be kind, but it's landed me in an all manner of problems in life. Anyway, thank you for your concerns, I know you meant well and it's fine. One day, I'm 100% sure, I'll take my own life, but it won't be today and given I've failed three times, you could say I am to suicide what Lansdown is to picking mangers! Absolutely useless at it!

Probably the highest impact post I’ve ever read on here. I feel for you and hope you can pull through mate.

Surprised to Cisse in the Lansdown Suite last weekend in a tracksuit, having not seen anything of him for months !

    “Surprised to Cisse”

Love it, even if unintentional 🤣

  4. Didn’t look happy and had a bit of stuff to say as he went to sit down. Pearson literally ordered him to come and sit beside him. There was a few words, then he went and sat a few rows back in the dugout m.

Probably more performance or his on-pitch demeanour. Either way, I think it was more Pearson didn’t like something he saw with him.

    Again.

  5. Just forward the ‘download e-ticket onto your phone’ email (if you still have it) on to the person you wanna take.

Much faster than messing around the backward BS way.

You can have the season cards on as many phones as you like, but only one entry per card, obviously 👌

Anyone who downloads it into their phone’s wallet can delete it after and re-download again at any point.

Stayed over in Leicester after the game last week and went to Mowgli's. The food is not your usual Indian fare and the dishes are smaller, which is good in my view as you can order a greater selection of interesting dishes. All was good, tasty and reasonably priced. It was though quite a "fast food" type establishment with all our dishes being delivered within a matter of minutes and lingering not encouraged.  If you want to take time I'd suggest ordering in stages.

    Fair shout.

When we went to the Cardiff restaurant, we took our time and food came out gradually. Sounds like a bit of a different experience. We were there for over an hour I’d say.

It was nice to have a good selection. I think perhaps 6 or 7 dishes were ordered between the two of us. We maybe went overboard!

Just started watching ANDOR seems very slow after 2 eps watched and seems to be quite a few GB actors in. Alex Ferns from Eastenders...The Sargent

Be sure to watch all of Andor. It’s a great show, albeit slow to get going. Really worth it though. Preferred it over Mandalorian. Will watch Ashoka when all episodes are released 👍

  8. Has anybody who ordered this away shirt online and chose to collect in store have a confirmation email yet?

Although the store is stocked up, you can’t go in and get the size you ordered as they need it to be delivered separately ?‍♂️ Still waiting for said confirmation email.

Makes no sense and is very backwards.

I ordered my son a shirt on the launch day, just to guarantee he got one in case stock became unavailable, now I’m left waiting when the shirts are in the shop!!

Jeez, quality is so poor. Tried a medium and the neck and arms must have been put on the wrong shirt size, they wouldn't look out of place on a XS or S.

Same. There’s nothing I like this year, unfortunately. Can’t justify the prices of the training/leisure wear this season either when you look at the quality of the product. £40 for a training t-shirt ffs!

Completely out of stock in women's fit, as is the home kit. I'm not wearing that yellow abomination so looking like I won't have a shirt this season.

Check in store if you can, as the online stock is not currently aligned with store stock.

There were loads of stock of the away kit still to be unpacked in the store today.

Any idea on sizing? pretty normal?

I went into the shop today and tried a Medium, which was true enough to size/fit.

The sleeves and collar are a different fabric though and can feel a bit tight/snug. I don’t know why club decides this type of design, but I remember it last being a ‘thing’ on the 2015/16 home shirt and then the purple 3rd shirt from 2016/17.

I had to take the shirt off as my neck was itchy and going red within seconds! Having stubble sets it off ? Not going to bother myself…

Now all three kits are out, my son decided he wanted the black away kit this season, so I claimed a 5-6yrs shirt with his season card. My son is average in build and height etc for his size and it was too small. Same again with the shorts. So he has 7-8yrs which is a bit of a surprise!!

  12. Many reasons for the car insurance price hikes, some being…

Cost of parts, even ‘green parts’

Longer wait for parts (back order). This would affect accident related non-drivable vehicles, especially where customers have courtesy cars longer

Used car market inflation - this being a ‘thing’ due to shortages of parts among other issues for production of new vehicles

Accident claims & volume. This seems to have risen since Covid apparently

The amount of bodyshops and skilled personnel don’t meet the levels required to cope with demand

…. So even with all the safety associated technology on vehicles (ADAS), there doesn’t seem to be much of an improvement on the roads meaning a reduction in accidents/claims.

And to think, the government are trying to push for a MOT every two years and first MOT at four years ?‍♂️ If anything, the MOT should be something taken more seriously and priced at a standardised fee around £80-90!
