He's not, but it might be early days. Perhaps not dissimilar to when SL first joined the board and HL was unrecognisable then from now.

The thing about Dale Vince is he is an environmentalist first and a businessman second. I believe he still owns the majority of Ecotrocity, and rather than paying dividends etc he reinvests most money in the business and other green schemes, such as the free charging stations in the motorway services. He is therefore rich on paper, but not in cash. This will therefore limit the amount of money he can put into Forest Green.

I doubt that it would make any difference. All it means is if the site is going to be sold, the Bishopston Society (or any other local group) would have 6 weeks to make a bid  and 6 months to raise the money. It's unlikely that the Bishopston Society could raise the market value of the site, and even if they did, Rovers would just get the money from them instead of some other party.

IF (and its a big if) they won the court case against Sainsburys to force them to pay the contractually agreed price, would Bishopston Society need to pay this level, or  the Lower present market value?

  3. Already 'safe' from relegation due to their win at Wycombe the previous week, the Mansfield game was to be a celebration of their escape. Why, oh why would City supporters go and watch that dross? Boot on other foot.......... if we only had to get a home point against a side with no further interest in the competition, would any of our 'active' noisy neighbours turn up and give 25 quid to our bank account for what is essentially a survival party?

    Would they bullocks.

I still call total BS on their straw grasping

Not only did they only need to get a point to guarantee safety, anything but a win for Northampton and Wycombe would have seen them relegated instead.

Completely ridiculous to think city fans would have been in attendance.

Lots more to come.. Lovely jubbly.

Yep, they seem very clear of corruption around the 2010 World Cup and 2011 Presidential election.

  5. Giving up on the streams... Best I can get on the tablet is a bit bof broken audio and shitloads of ads.. Missing too much of game trying, so I'm kicking back now, relaxing and listening to Radio Bris commetary , closing my eyes and watching the pictures in my head.. :)

Nice one AGAIN Smithy.. Them Kent's must love you!

The Now TV app is good quality on android tablets (guessing there is the same for iPad) but there is a charge.

  6. Feel like death warmed up so didn't go so can't believe only game BBC can't be arsed to get a live camera going is ours. Crock of shyte

Really? They moved us so we were included on this programme and are paying both teams for this - would be mad not to have the feed as presumably there would be a camera to get highlights anyway. It might just be they haven't got a person pitch side.
