I know that Yeboah only got a 20min cameo last night but certainly showed enough to become a regular in the first team squad - only 17 as well.
The academy has produced some excellent young players over the years, the list is almost endless and well worth the investment.
The pathway has become very clear and as the saying goes ‘if you’re good enough, you’re old enough” really applies at City, particularly with a manager who’s willing to give these young guys an opportunity. Many managers throughout the EFL are very reluctant to play young inexperienced players - SC was one - How do graduates get experience if they’re not given the opportunity?
agree it has but now it's producing a landslide of them

yep, the usual thuggery associated with PNE is missing from their game for some reason, I'm sure it'll return if playing "real football" fails to get them points though

Stumbled across the Swansea v gash game while flicking through IPTV channels. My word Swansea look a poor side!
don't you think the Gash is a far more fitting name than Sags etc...?

Post-Brexit American firms see the UK as a sitting duck. No longer economically linked to Europe we are easy pray for the yanks, and are already effectively becoming a vassal state of the U S of A.
The Premier League, and Championship, is now almost full of clubs owned by either American companies or Middle Eastern States.
If rumours are to be believed then it is American investment firms interested in buying us and the gas.
There's a race on for who controls global football: America or the Middle East. Or maybe they'll end up dividing it up between them.
Interesting times, one would assume it won't be long before England no longer holds claim to the "best league in the world".
EU powerhouse Germany went into recession last week, bloody brexit

There's no sports journalism at a local level, all that Bristol Live, Bristol World, and Bristol 25/7 do is search the internet, twitter, and this forum , and not particularly well either as usually someone on here is first with any significant news like a signing ( from a proper source- national journo, foreign journo connected to selling club etc) and the local news pick it up from here and a few hours later it's...." Bristol Live can exclusively reveal etc...."
Does anyone actually read the whole of their online content?
It makes me laugh when they plagiarise most of their "news" from elsewhere, they copy and paste all the typos & bad grammar as well - an Infant could create Reach Rags content

It's shocking mate. I started calling them out when they did the Primark "adds". Every couple of days a new "must buy" or "people can't get enough". Either that or an actual news event which turns out to be in Blackburn !!
yeah the daily avalanche of "Imminent Blizzards", now switched to "record heatwave" threats that NEVER happen is shocking scaremongering ClickBait - my 5 yr old grand-daughter could write that stuff - and don't get me started on their "EXACT DATE" garbage

I don't think there are many, if any , full time local staff any more. The OnLine content is quite often copied/pasted from a central site. The Bristol Live bit is little more than an advertising wing of Primark. The Post , even as a local paper had been cutting back local journos for years.
BL is one of the whopping 240+ National/Local newspapers Reach has somehow been allowed to amass - ANY "news" (even what they've copied off Social Media) is shared across the lot

‘even the most pessimistic of supporters may have to accept that Alex Scott and Jay Dasilva have probably worn the City colours for the final time.’
The Bristol Post
Surely that should read ‘ optimistic ‘?
because they sacked all their Journalists and replaced them with unpaid Intern - some of the typos are horrendous

I’d be surprised if we get a loan back option without it costing a significant amount. Can’t see a club with more clout than us agreeing to pay 25+ mil and they don’t get to work with him for a season.
a bit smashed mate, please let me enjoy the thought
