Perversely he might consider a change back to 3-5-2 with Tanner, Vyner, Pring and Sykes, Dasilva WBs Hope not but it is an option to protect Pring a bit

Your fellow Bristolians can afford to go We have a top 7 Champ level of support. Presumably a top 10 out of the 72 EFL.

Cornick is probably playing as expected, a club in the bag, performing as you would expect from a Luton sub. Not the same as buying their best player Naismith but will be OK for us. -

Starting Bell gives up more pace up front but very little goal threat No offence to the young lad who is obviously going to improve and be an integral part of our team moving forward -
What has being good at football to do with being good at presenting?

The prices are cheap as chips, barely any different per game to going to the cinema Hence loads buying and attending about half the games

Plenty of bigger* clubs (cough cough) haven't even made the Prem, I would love two promotions up there in the next ten years *OK, similar sized

I think that is one for the cliche book of 'we need a lot of luck to win the game' Two pens, one for handball without a player nearby and the other for an off the ball incident. Miraculous.

Could We Realistically Have Come Out Any Better?

Don't disagree with you tbh Super but as KitR says, based on how Marriner reffed the rest of the game it would have definitely been a penalty to Man City Having not given that penalty he was very very quick to give similar fouls to Man City in the middle of park and the threshold for a penalty is no different to a free kick -
Wow that is a shite draw with all the favourites at home
-
Probably right but 99.99% of the time it's bloody obvious
-
Hang on, we let in more goals in 90 mins v Man City than we have in 14 league games? Shows the difference in quality that's for sure

Why do I always get the impression this Bermudan resident is singing off a bloody strange hymnsheet? Like last season the fans were really quite content and he pipes up saying results have not been good enough and basically putting pressure on NP Nigel Pearson disagrees with Jon Lansdown's Bristol City claim and 'bonkers' strategy of old - Bristol Live (bristolpost.co.uk)

Maybe not just Scott going in summer.

They have a lot of similar players, Smith-Rowe and Odegaard for a start -
Anyone mentioned how poor these guys were last night? We can't win a penalty every game but the push on a clean through Sykes was pretty obviously a foul in the box and therefore a penalty. Plus a red for denying a goalscoring opportunity in the box with no attempt to play the ball I know the rules have changed somewhat this season that not every contact is a foul but Marriner then proceeded to give them everything as soon as we breathed on them? The linesmen were equally poor, did they give offside even once against Man City? I think not, they must be the absolute experts at staying onside. You hear grumbles from the smaller clubs in the Prem that the big boys get every decision and that was certainly true last night.

Just to think a few months ago we were getting spanked 3-0 at Brum, barely a shot at Reading and only two months we were utterly **** against West Brom Our performance tonight was so impressive, long may it continue

Nowhere near the level he was in 2018 but still great nonetheless

Best player on the pitch in the first half Call it £50m
