Normally an away point at Wednesday is gratefully received. However, we denied them any shots on target but our Achilles heel denied us another three points.
What is our Achilles heel? Our lack of clinical finishing which will be the reason why we won't be challenging for automatic promotion.
I'm not complaining or criticising as we've done a good job and are still maintaining improved form on last season. Perhaps my disappointment shows how far we've come.
Hopefully someone will wheel out the stats to show we are one of the most clinical. I'm fairly sure we are.

It's a good away point - they won at Villa before international break and we still have injuries and suspensions.

Good point - win Tuesday and it will have been a good few days.

Djuric did ok. Tough game for him and we couldn't have gone with anyone else.

Great win with depleted team.

If only we could just utilise mags for long throws. Come on!
-
Pack could have easily gone before their red. Tough against ten now.

Fair scoreline at half time. Magnússon continues to prove he ain't good enough. He was poor at Fulham too but got away with it - not today.
Can see 2-2 here.

That's a great point. Beat Bolton Tuesday and it will be even better.

Never a penalty in a million years. Leko the best player on the pitch, Bryan having a lot of joy against their midfield, turned his man 3 times now. We look tidy, no way should we be down.
As obvious a pen as you will see. Fielding silly as no need to do it. Other that should be level at least.

Once again following the LJ reshuffle we concede. When will LJ learn to leave it alone. Let's hope he keeps the same team on Monday! Sure the clown will make changes. He can't resist breaking a winning performance. Well played Matty Taylor once again
He made some sensible changes ahead of Monday. Stop moaning.

The curse of being shit in the first half of many game really hurting us today. We have been able to come back a lot but you can't keep doing it. Johnson needs to sort it out long term.

Terrible game and terrible performance by City. Must of known this was how they would play yet we haven't caused them many problems - very disappointing.
If we snatch a draw, it would be superb considering how poor we have been.

Game over. Had to be Bamba who has been MOTM.

Disgrace we weren't given a pen today.

We were poor today but were seconds away from the win.
Matthews got roasted first half which was odd after his recent good form. Midfield was non-existent until Tomlin scored. Reid helped a bit.
Just shows that after last week, there is still a long way to go.

How did Reid do, can I ask?
He's been a starter in a few games where we've got decent wins, so am hoping he is kicking on.
Like many players today, he struggled a bit first half but then was good 2nd half.
Almost forgot to mention how good Tomlin was. Made so many jinking runs.

Feared the worst when Korey was not in the team - I gave us no chance! First ten mins it seemed to be coming true as they were all over us...then we got back in to it a bit before conceding a soft goal from a free-kick.
But when it looked like we would go in 1-0 down and set for a difficult 2nd half, Bryan pinged a shot against the post and Kodjia followed up, we were right back in it an hopes of a draw were a bit higher...
No idea what happened 2nd half but what a performance. Dominated and had numerous chances before and after Flint headed the winner. Where did it come from?! So much confidence from everyone. Pack controlled everything! Wagstaff looked good too when he came on which begs the question why Cotteril hasn't used him this season.
Delighted to be wrong about no chance without Korey.
We will be safe this season and hopefully a few games before the end!

I assume from the timing of your post you were talking about their third goal?
If so, Frankie was about 8 yards off his line as he came out to meet the attacker. He wasn't rooted to his line.
I know frustrations are rife tonight but posting inaccurate stuff to criticise individuals doesn't help.
But I get your disappointment mate, it's a terrible shame that we are in this situation after last season. To find ourselves back in the third div with a big new stadium is just unthinkable...
No idea why Fielding didn't come out straight away to clear it.

SC was ok , we should have won the game apparently.
What a surprise!

Point gained if we beat MK Dons next week.

Lucky goal but vital!

We do have to improve it. Whilst it's great there is room for improvement and injuries could bite further.
