Obviously not every game pans out the same way. If a team is 2-0 down they have nothing to loose. If they have quality, they are bound to go for it & cause problems. Sitting back to contain them (after a gruelling recent fixture list) is one option, we did it & we won. If we'd have carried on attacking & been caught out then that would have been wrong. Getting the result is what mattered & we showed how good we can be to get the game won in the first half.

People were quick enough to complain about not having won (league) this year, despite arguably being better team in 4 games against Premier league opposition. Leeds & Preston games were disappointing, of course - but bar those - I think we look so much better than we did earlier in the season (yes, under NP, for those who feel rhe need to make the comparrison) Way to early to judge LM yet - but I'm definitely encouraged more than anything else, so far.

Any decent side will come out & play better in the second half if they go in 0-2 down at half time, especially at home.

Max is coming on OK. Not perfect, but so much better than he was a year or 2 ago. There are games he's kept us in it this season. A year ago he looked like he shouldn't save any shot on target.

Well we did - we decided to contain & protect a 2-0 lead & we won the game. If we'd have kept trying to pile forward against an improved, quality side who were chasing the game, they'd probably have overturned the deficit.

We have a decent little squad coming together, with the forward line strengthened in the summer & hopefully Williams & James (for another 12 months) retained, or upgraded - maybe already covered with Bird - we have/will have far better depth heading into next season - whatever comes of this season.

Well yeah - that is the point of the league table format - so that most teams within it are competitive. This season the relegated prem sides are generally a vlass above the division they have come into. Ipswich are excelling and then a few teams have struggled all season & will likely go down. The rest of us are fairly evenly matched - as it should be. We are competitive in almost ever game & like most others - need that spark or inspired addition to push on & find the consistency in our play & results to progress into one of the top 6 sides. No reason we can't & have a sound squad to build on, albeit a bit thin on numbers & options. When the likes of Skyes are out we really moss them because we don't have equal quality to replace them with & lack their extra class & impact. Hopefully Dire will hit the ground running & make an impact - but he might turn out to just be another Yeboah. I like how we are planning & building towards next season already. That isn't "giving up" on this season - it's just been the business that we have been able to do & probably lack the depth of quality to sustain any good form this season - but who knows... get Dire, Twine & Skyes all fit & on form ASAP & who knows what impact that might have over the final 3rd of the season.

We are nowhere near the top 2, or 4 for that matter. Beyond that, we aren't a million miles off 5th-10th.

You jumped on a post by someone who obviously wasn't giving correct info about it having no option & your post was after the screenshot of his portent club saying that there is an option. So many who appear for England youth levels never make anything much of their career. I don't thing Bell is anywhere near at our level - yet. I'm hoping this new lad has a far bigger impact than Mehmeti. To progress, we need to upgrade. I think Sam Bell would benefit from loan, same as Yeboah.

For some - the plan is to disagree with anything we do from here on in, because it isn't good old Nige..! We could surge up the table, finish top 6, win the play offs, in our 3rd Wembley victory of the season as we win the FA Cup, qualify for Europe & get promoted in LM's first season & some would post here insisting that we'd have done it under Nige anyway & that Tinnion is a snake & the Lansdowns need to get out of our club..!

You do know that the fancier named "England Elite" is still nothing more than the under 18's (or whatever age bracket it is) yeah.?! You have posted criticising this transfer, yet completely ignored the posts & screenshots that disprove that it's not got an option on it if he looks upto this level.

It doesn't change the fact that Yeboah is not anywhere even close to being first team ready.! Whether this new lad is or not, doesn't change the fact that Yeboah is not.!
