I think he loves him because of the involvement Manning allows Tinnion to have.
A manager like Pearson would never allow it.
There's a reason for that.

I find him very difficult to watch/listen too, have done from his first time here.
I don't like his football, I don't like the way he discribes the game and his tactics.
I don't like the fact he will not change in game tactics during a match, I don't think he can ever change from his so called perfect game plan.
I don't feel great about this and all of the above but I have a feeling of impending doom about City at this moment of time.

Living in Brighton, I do like being able to listen too sound of the City

One of the major faults of Manning is he has come and tried to change the team straight away with both positions and style.
A decent manager/head coach would look at what he has and would try to implement he's ideas over time, gradually changing the ethos and tactics over a time scale.

Sums this team up at the moment. Woeful.
Sums up the management of this club from Lansdown, Tinnion to Manning, not the team.
Still we can turn this match around..

It’s most likely because the first team squad train away from the academy now so one of the academy players could walk up to him with a big sandwich board saying “I’m in the academy” and he’d still be nonplussed having had no real steer on their abilities.
If he’s not seeing them in training, how does he know if a place is merited?
(Taps sign detailing how many youth players Liam brought through at Dons and Oxford)
Is this something Manning has implemented?

Bristol born but have lived in Brighton for a long time, so I know a lot about my club and Brighton.
Tony Bloom took over Brighton at a time you could say City was ahead of them in the football pecking order.
The difference between Tony Bloom and Steve Lansdown is very simple.
Bloom, a rich man and good business man took over his club and knew he was not experienced in running a football club, so what did he do?
He employed the best people he could get to run the football side of Brighton while he took care of the business side of the club.
He got the best people in he could and listened to them in an area he was lacking in to help his club progress.
Look at the stark reality of where City and Brighton are now, both similar sized clubs and history, one a Prem established club in Europe and the other repeating the same mistakes and what I think will end again in relegation to league one.
Manning is not for me but the issues are so much wider, it's breaking my heart, again.

Wherever you are with Manning, this game needs a reaction from the first whistle of the 2nd half. 4 4 2 for me and go direct. **** any pretty stuff.
I very much doubt he will change it

Genuinely losing faith pretty quickly in Manning now, so erratic on when we do and do not perform and tactics are crap.
Fear not, he will read the situation and adjust our game plan...

Clarke Osborne - that's him , he was involved with the Gas & instrumental in selling Eastville to IKEA, tried it on at Swindon, and has been trying to buy Plainmoor ( it's council owned) so he can use it to " fund a new stadium" yeah right. Apparently he never attended Torquay games.
A parasite who sees a club in need of financial help as a way to acquire cheap real estate.
He has been instrumental in the closing of many speedway/greyhound stadia, all gone for housing.
Has fingers in many pies, look at him on companies house to see how many companies he was/is involved in.

Thats him..

Anthony Osborne still involved?
He has a habit of running sports clubs into the ground and then selling the stadium for housing, he did it with Swindon speedway recently, their stadium is now pretty much Taylor Wimpey houses now..

I can't argue too much with the team selection, it's been a brutal run up to this fixture.
Bench is getting stronger by the week.

Anger
Its not anger is it, we are all happy with the result but I question why the change at half time..
If Boro had scored mid second half we would have been in trouble and that would have been down to the half time change in tactics.

I note the same people that were deriding Manning for not being tactically flexible enough are now criticising him for changing formation.
You've gotta laugh.
He did change things and people are asking him to read the game and change things.
Today he did change, for the worse..

play a back 4 please.
Only listened to the Forest game via Radio Bristol but sounded like we didn't play as well after the triple subs and went back to three at the back.

Shocking handball from Andi, goal ruled out and replaced with a yellow.
