Nice work there..

listening on Robins TV via the Radio Bristol Feed, wish they would shut that bloody kid up..
-
Let's hope for 3 points and a good performance, good luck Liam.

Read the interview and please excuse me as I haven't read this thread so I may be repeating what others have noted.
Sounds like no money in January and if LM wants to recruit then it will be sell first, dissapointing.

Welcome Liam, don't agree that Nige has gone but he will have my full support..

No. because potently we have a financial clause with Alex Scott's transfer to see them stay up.

We know the Lansdown’s are out of touch but I wonder what they’ve made of the fallout this week.
As they still don’t seem to have anyone and rumours of being turned down by their 1st choice, I wonder if they’re thinking “why the hell did we do that?”
No, it was a power struggle and the Lansdown's and Tins wanted control.

I don't think there has ever been a more unpopular sacking of a football manager in modern times..

I can't see this.

I think they will try and get Brighton's Roberto De Zerbi.
-
The way he talked about him, ive got a feeling Ali Hines is in the frame..

Well most of us guessed this was going to happen but absolutely raging at this..
They better have something better lined up or we will turn against the board and new manager pretty quick.

Completely agree. I can't believe how relatively little criticism he gets on here. He's a reasonable keeper, but he's not top 6 Championship level and does indeed cost us too many important goals. A new, experienced goalkeeper is a must, if nothing else to be good challenge for him.
And just who is going to pay for this because SL won't.

Can't fault Nige and the lads for this, we may run out of steam tho COYR

finally got it..

Some of these injuries we are picking up must be down to the small squad. with a small squad, when we have picked up a few injuries we have no chance to manage the game time of players that are likely to pick up injuries, its a vicious circle.

Does anybody really think the presence of Mark Ashton is going to create some sort of Ipswich-City rivalry? I don't. Beyond OTIB I doubt many know or care.
Can't decide whether I think Ipswich's game being cancelled at the weekend is a good thing or a bad thing for us. They'll be more rested, obviously. But god knows there's been so many times when we've looked slow to wake up after an international break. Wonder whether, if we have a fast start, Ipswich might be caught out after nearly 3 weeks of training?I dont think they have played a competitive game for 18 days..

I think SL wanted to get rid of Nige a while back but didn't want to pay up his contract while having to pay for another manager so has let his contract run down as long as possible to reduce the financial expense.

Since the last interview SL did on radio Bristol when he begged up Mark Robins and said nothing about Nike, I thought he was out the door.
SL won't have anybody at the club who will stand up to him and put their views across.
It his club and nobody should dare have any views/ideas that don't agree with his limited ability to run a football club.
