A good agent should be working for his client(s) all the time (working hours).  Hopefully that is what they get paid to do!  Some are of course bad-eggs.

Here’s who he reps according to twitter.

So looking at that and he is kinda young, he's not NP's agent and he's his representative, or have I got that wrong?

Surely that means the squad has improved then? He’s got rid of deadwood and developed youth team players into key parts of the first team squad.

I don't think the squad has to be fair, there is little depth in it now..

    Well. I never expected that!!

So, if the value of the squad has increased, then this gives even more sway to my point in my other thread in that he should be doing better with this squad.
If the squad is now worth more than when he took it on, why are we in a significantly worse position?

I think because he has developed our youth players but not necessarily that the squad has improved.

The likes of Scott, Semenyo and Conway have seen their values rise considerably under NP's guidance.

Ive not read that before so thank you for putting the link up, shows some perspective as to what is going on behind the scenes.

There was a Leicester fan who comes on here from time to time and I remember him saying that many will question NP's tactics, player choice's and subs but it will all click at some point, I really hope it does here..

I believe the main problem is the inbalance in the squad , we have talented youngsters and quality old pros who are past their best , neither type of player can be expected to be functioning at the top of their game twice a week in the Championship.
Then add in a difficult run of results and confidence drops off as well.
There is also too much uncertainty concerning the January window, Semenyo and Scott have lost all form.
Iam hoping that we can get one or two new faces in and out and then press on without these distractions.

You have to wonder if agents have got to the pair of them with ideas of a move to the promised land..

I think that's my biggest criticism of Pearson. He's got a system that he thinks works with our best XI - which is fair enough - but he is too reluctant to switch things when we just don't have the right players available to fit it.

Obviously there's swings and roundabouts here. There is a lot to be said for having a consistent style of play and consistency in formation. But I also think Pearson could be better at making tweaks when players central to making that formation work simply aren't available.

This is my issue too, I'm not a fan of 3 at the back and wings backs but I can see his logic when he states that this is the ideal formation for the players we have at hand.

I accept this view as we don't have a dominant centre half or defensive midfielder to play with a back four at this level.

What I don't get is shoehorning players into the system and his stubborn attitude to changing the system and then just throwing a few attack minded players at the match when all is lost really.

I have changed my mind after a knee jerk reaction from me after Boxing Day and think he should stay but I'm concerned he won't change this.

If the powers to be have real concern over NP's future, then they cannot employ another coach as any incoming manager is likely to want their own backroom staff, but that does not mean he could not be given a short term contact or paid as a consultant, if things work out in the short term for NP then could be offered a normal contract, assuming NP feels he needs him.

They've spent most of their careers working together, I don't see why he wouldn't want to work with him again..

For what its worth, I think its a no go from a financial point of view and would CS really want to come here?

Today,I finally lost  patience.  I think the Pearson experiment has run its course.

Maybe he's lost it with age, or Long Covid, or maybe his past successes were achieved with the help of coaches no longer available to him.

I have said this before a few times, he's never done much without Craig Shakespeare.

My thoughts have been to get behind him but I've lost faith now.

Again another manager who's tactics and substitutes I just don't agree with.

  10. Say what you want about NP, but he was right in what he said last night, we have no depth to the squad.

Without Alex Scott, Matty James and Kal Naismith, we are utter dog poo and thats the real issue..

Those three playing together, make us a football team and bring the others on..
