Where’s all this “acid test”, “big game” etc stuff coming from.  It’s a fairly meaningless end of season game.  Hope we play well, hope we win, but depending on other results, the best we can hope for us to jump up to 11th.  Hardly earth shattering stuff.

So you’re saying that’s it now for the season?  Weird POV. He’s very much on trial still for me and all games matter.  Let’s follow up Friday with a win today.   We were promised better.  Let’s have it.

Gives Grealish half an hour yesterday then rips him a new one on the pitch after the game and in front of all and sundry.

Quite clearly not ‘ripping him a new one’.  You missed out referencing Grealish’s reaction.  He was listening intently to what Pep was saying and nodding in agreement! Pep has these kind of conversations at the end of every game, with his own players and sometimes with the opposition as well.

New to this site. Don’t go to many games now but have been to many over nearly 50 years. Would love to see city in the top division again but it has to be done without risking the existence of the club. Steve lansdown has given the club a sound footing but why should he spend all his money chasing the premier league. As I say I’m new here, see a lot of negativity to Bristol sport. Why is that?

Why have you posted the exact same post 25 mins apart? Is the BS AI machine on the blink? 😗

What the hell is going on with this forum lately? Some of the replies to this poster are bang out of order. This is not the only thread that I’ve seen this stuff on now and I think some people need to get a grip and chill out a bit! I’ve been on this forum for years and we’ve had some big old debates over the years but always without the ‘nastiness’. And before anyone asks, I don’t, and never have, worked for Bristol Sport.

Maybe if people didn’t purposefully wind others up then responses wouldn’t be so heated sometimes.  Just a thought……..

As for our Welsh “cousins” anyone remember the Italy flag in the away end when we played Swansea? Now you know what it’s like to lose a penalty shoot out in a big game boyo’s. Enjoy that!!

It was beautiful last night seeing all those crying Welsh boyos.  All their hopes and expectations up in smoke.  Reasons such as the flag you referenced above are why it makes it so sweet!

  6. Not going to go through the points made but finished listening and wanted to say very well done to@petehinton @ELJones and Del.   Didn’t agree with everything said, especially Del on a few bits, but it was all done in a grown up, sensible and most importantly passionate manner.  Good on you all.  The host was still far too protective of the hierarchy for my liking but again fair enough, he’s got a job to protect.  @Davefevs excellent at the end as well (notice the interviewer didn’t challenge your figures like he did earlier in the piece!)

    Watching The Women's Football Show.

A segment on Lauren Smith showed this.

Never a more appropriate slogan for this ownership.

I recently got a flag from here. Quick turnaround, allowed my custom images, and best of all came with a fire retardant safety certificate.

Thank you both - really appreciate it 👍🏼

  9. Great to see.  Shouldn’t have let him go. Consumate pro who evidently still has a lot to give and the kind of leader we need, on and off the pitch.  Get that he may have wanted to be a bit nearer to home now though, but seems strange it all happened so quickly once the management changed.   Good for him though whatever.

  10. It was undoubtedly a great day out and there are some very funny stories from that day, but given our resources we should be looking at proper Wembley days out, not the Mickey Mouse Cup.  Way were currently going though it’ll be the Mickey again before anything else
