It was hilarious. I bet St Andrews is a toxic place to be.

After the delight Bluenoses took in Villa's demise last season Villa fans will be looking forward to the Second City Derby on St George's Day.

Will be a very tense affair - policed of course with great humour and the laid back attitude synonymous with West Midlands' finest...

Toon losing - get in. "We're a big club!"

    W***ers.

They won't be by the time we play them.... ;)

Joking aside, we won't go up and it looks like you may just survive. Disagree about the comments that DC has taken us as far as he can, he's the man to keep taking the club forward and he has a very bright future as a manager.

If we have a Bristol Derby in the Championship next season then all things considered I won't complain (much). You lot have annoying knack of rallying to reach the playoffs against the odds (07 springs to mind!)

That was before the competition was bastardised. Fair play to our city rivals and the fans of other clubs. There is absolutely no comparable here to our turnouts before the competition got ruined - indeed I'd go as far to say the lower the turnout the even more impressive.

Totally - need to see the bigger picture here. This competition makes a mockery of the game.

Must be strange your team playing a game against u23 team . Fair shout to fans across the country for boycotting it . 1400 in attendance not much of a boycott.

Oh, I think the boycott has worked and a good thing too...

    461 at Wimbledon
    392 at Fleetwood
    950 at Chesterfield

These are paltry attendances and send out a strong message - hopefully the EFL will have a long, hard think before they further try to wreck the integrity of the pyramid.

EDIT: Swansea's starting XI had squad numbers which added up to 340 more than the total attendance for their game at Wimbledon.

  5. I hear Salisbury tourist board is worried about a drop in tourism from thick silly sad sags

Boycott merely temporary. They'll be back (in their "tens of thousands", obviously) soon enough when Rovers go belly up and have to start from scratch in the Wessex League like Salisbury did this summer. ;)
