Up over £15k now so thier 6 month care cover met, great effort from all, great to see some gas heads chip in too. Thinking of scott and his family and wish them all the best. Would be great to hear the super Scott Murray chant for him Sunday.

It is probably an experienced second coach - our structure rules out a DoF as that treads on Tinnions toes. To be fair you can call it what you want though. If you asked (for example, not suggesting) Joe Jordan to come in as a consultant his title doesn’t matter - it’s what he brings to the table.
One of the (many) issues I think Liam has is that he’s blinded by the process - and the book he’s read is the same one “Hoggy” has read. So I think he needs a different viewpoint, to see what the book doesn’t tell him. Major caveat here is that I think he believes in the process so much that he may not show willingness to take it.
We could bring in a "Championship Experianced Organiser" and make up a role called CEO?

I don't think the ref helped yesterday.he let qpr leave a bit extra in on several of thier challenges to a point where we had players bottling challenges. He also didn't do anything to control the time wasting. It reminded me of us vs west ham.
Until we learn to deal with physical sides where they press and harass us to stop our game plan we will be a mid table team. It OK the club wanting us to play a certain way but we need to be able to adapt to these situations.

I fail to see how anyone can form an opinion on Mebude on a 10/15 minute appearance!
TBF we had Lois Diony sussed after his first 2 mins when he was here.

Important news from Radio Bristol. Liam is heading down the tunnel to visit the dressing room for a piss apparently.
Not sure how they've got that scoop.
Someone must have leaked it.

You would think there has to be a reaction 2nd half as that was awful, fair play to max.
Not the reaction we were hoping for. Easily the worst performance of the season for me so far.

Do we know if anyone was hurt?

I thought max and the defense struggled with Watford's press yesterday as no time to play around and some poor passes as a result. His saves over last few weeks have been bloody excellent though.

i was impressed when knight had a chat on a corner and twine appeared to drop it right on the money to give knight a clear chance on goal. twines corners were far better than anything I have seen this or last season from us.

Hence, I could even watch the replays and half time discussions .
To be fair half time discussions at the gate changed from football to free beer.

From west ham forum, touch salty?
"Let's call it right. Bristol City had about everything go their way. The unpunished red card offences across both games. The soft red for us. Playing us with half of our team away/injured.
That is the absolute best they can play, and even then it needed a gift of a goal to win it. We had more than enough chances to bury them across both matches, we just didn't take our chances.
That's the FA Cup for you. They really, really wanted it and played out of their skins. We didn't and weren't at our best. They just about shaded the tie."

Yes true, there were times when that throw could have been sent out sooner, although he’s probably under instructions to wait until we’ve got our shape back.
There was a point where he did end chucking it sooner and I swear that was as a result of the fans urging him on.
Great save and although there were a few wobbly moments, but I’m happy with Max and I doubt we’ll realistically get anything that’s better on our budgetMy only real complaint with him is that he isn't very good at commanding the defense hence the mix up with tanner which should have been an easy take rather than giving them a corner. He needs to work on when to come out as was really good last night but gash on Saturday. Save was excellent and overall very good performance.

Agreed. Football in the Prem is almost a non-contact sport now.
All those West Ham fans calling us thugs. How do we tell them that we are in fact, one of the nicer teams in the Championship. That's why we are mid table.
That's the issue with the prem, with both var and diving it's been pushed to the point as you mention of almost non contact. The west ham of old would have shown far more guts and gave us back as good as they got. Their team last night and the first game genuinely didnt know what to do when a team got stuck into them and looked frightened to death. Imagine them against some of the more physical champ sites.
Every prem striker would have gone down if in Conways shoes when keeper made contact with him but he stayed on his feet for the goal as they would know var would show contact and a pen. It's ruining the game.
I feel for true west ham fans as apart from one or two of thiern players the rest really didn't want to be there.

The only player that looked like he really wanted a row and fight for the cause was Coufal but unfortunately for him Pring was just as keen. That was a good battle tbf. As for the rest, we pissed all over them in the aggression stakes.
I'm wondering if var has made the prem soft. To quote corporal jones they didn't like it up em.
