Agree to an extent Dave - however, it was only a few weeks ago people were purring over the likes of Knight and Dickie signing and talking about this season being one where we start moving on an upward trajectory Yesterdays result wasn’t the concern. The performance was. Couple that with the one against Preston and let’s be honest - the Millwall game only produced one shot on target . I look at individual players and I just don’t see them improving. The James and Williams Centre pairing has to be addressed. Together they are no where near good enough, or quick enough - to command the midfield Sykes , Mehmeti, Cornick - not improved one jot ….and god knows what’s happened to Pring Very early days but I’ve seen very little in the first 3 games to suggest we will break into the top half this season Let’s just hope we do bring in one or two before the window closes .

Far to early to say who will be scrapping it out at the bottom - but we need to add to this squad otherwise yesterdays performance will not be a one off Birmingham we’re decent - but I still think their will be plenty of teams who will be better then then this season . Yesterdays defeat didn’t bother me - it was the manner of the defeat. It was embarrassing - they looked like a squad of weaklings

Did anyone else hear the Rovers (I assume assistant or a coach??) interviewed on Radio Bristol after the game? described their current squad as “probably the best squad Bristol Rovers have ever had” ?

Agree with this. I thought they looked very good . I think my frustrations are more the fact that they have actually progressed - and I see another club who were in the doldrums, get their act together - and build a team with the potential to push top 6. Yet we look no better then we did 12 months ago

It’s a tough one. Personally I don’t see Pearson here past this season - who knows, he may even be gone sooner - is it really a good idea giving him more money?
