  1. don't worry it is all sorted out - they've got a watertight contract with the council for this to go ahead, nothing can possible go wrong.....
  2. I've been watching City for 31 years and that lot have been harping on about a new stadium for all that time (and beyond) - I will believe it when it has actually been built
  3. The issue with the signing of Liam Scales is nothing to do with finances apparently, just the currency that they tried to pay for him with - it is not legal tender in Ireland (or anywhere else for that matter)
  4. don't forget they also signed a player that Eastleigh didn't want - for someone who isn't short of a few quid the owner is really splashing out
  5. no City fan of sane mind would even give them the skidders in their underpants, let alone cash. I’m usually all for giving something to those less fortunate but there is a line to be drawn as far as that rancid club are concerned
  6. but, but, they sold Taylor to us for £10million did they not? ? 1982 is about the amount of season tickets they've sold isn't it?
  7. harping on about 1982 (and every other myth they come up with) is all they’ve got left - compulsive liars of the highest order
  8. I'm struggling to think of any other club in the Football League that has such an odd fanbase (what other fans would go up to a 7-year-old kid on holiday wearing his City kit and shout 'sheed' in his face? - bizarre behaviour!) - I would wish them to end up in the Southern League or something but the teams in there don't deserve to endure that 'privilege'
  9. I note they said there was a “massive” queue for the new kit at the “shop” - however when I was in the City shop on Saturday there were more people in there than Rovers average home Gate. What a pitiful club, still knocking one out over an event from 30 years ago because nothing else has happened since (or before for that matter)
  10. in their defence, its a good ratio compared to Nicholls......
  11. surely they could find £1.50 down the back of the the stand, sorry sofa or are the coffers really that empty?
  12. I would dispute that their owners provide nothing - they’ve provided us with plenty of material to laugh at over the last few years
  13. No need to pay for that - it is repeated on the Comedy Channel at regular intervals
  14. no surprise he had them on strings, most of the fanbase are muppets after all (the ones on here excepted of course). Is it any wonder they did not feature in that council video, it was to avoid the embarrassment to Bristol that they bring daily to our fair city
  15. the Vetch Field was a state of the art stadia compared to the Minimal (how anyone can label it a 'stadium' is one of life's mysteries)
  16. I've often wondered why they lie so much, must be the fumes from that stale Fanta. Not sure why they are getting agitated by Swansea, who are a bigger club than them in every aspect
  17. they have to brace themselves these days - mainly because the tightening of belts caused by an owner's empty wallet has caused those belts to snap
  18. they can only dream of glass houses - more like #peopleincrustyoldtents Vile club in every possible aspect
  19. I thought the school holidays were the end of next week......
  20. £10-15 million? that's a lot of turd polish
  21. another new signing today on loan from Sheffield United (Tyler Smith - a striker). One of the richest clubs in England still not opening the wallet to any great effect, the only thing in Wael's wallet appears to be a Chelsea season ticket and mothballs
  22. They've had some crap sponsors over the years - do they still do that raffle where the loser gets to sponsor the kit for a season?
  23. I wonder what was contained in a 'Snack Box' - I'm imagining a pasty, packet of crisps and Fanta all way past their sell-by date (rather like the club themselves)
  24. how long does it take to procure a shirt that is somewhat reminiscent of a jester / mouldy battenburg pattern? They could always revert to the whiteboard coloured in quarters idea, get plain white t-shirts and colour in the quarters themselves with blue felt tip (colour by {massive} numbers perhaps?)
  25. I thought they also got excited when the carpets got cleaned in the bar? ?
