  1. It definitely wasn't his man and Kalas for all his strengths has a habit of loose marking. Regards Vyner, the question is, when the ball comes in could he spot the danger and attack the ball instead of doing a little pirouette? He's probably the closest to the man in the end and seems to have a moment in which to decide.
  2. He's developing the Scott Murray, Albert Adomah threat where opponents just can't contain him.
  3. Okay maybe I should have added 'since being a pro footballer'. My comparison stands.
  4. The comparison of Rashford and Greenwood I find interesting. Both young millionaires with everything handed on a plate. One is potentially abusive (putting it mildly), and one is altruistic. So is this nature or nurture or if both where do the two meet?
  5. OTIB is a cult and it shouldn't be celebrated...
  6. I guess photos of an injury don't prove the cause of the injuries, but coupled with the audio file, there is now a significant reason to believe her claims. Greenwood could now rely on a defence that the injuries were self inflicted and the audio recording was of role play. If however witnesses can attest to aggressive and domineering behaviour from MG, he's on thin ice. Likewise, if witnesses were to attest that the victim actually has a track record of deviousness and manipulation, then that could form MG's defence.
  7. If someone was particularly cruel it would be easy to put together a comprehensive showreel of Vyner looking weak on opposition goals. He doesn't seem to have the mentality that he will put the striker under pressure and win the battle. He's weak at the most important moments and goals keep coming when he should do better. Again and again.

    Massengo

Yesterday was the Blueprint for Massengo. If he repeats that same performance every week his career will skyrocket. You could imagine Bielsa would love him.
  9. So basically we're doing what Bayern Munich do...beat the teams below us! 33% league win rate for Nige this season, which in the circumstances is decent.
  10. Massengo has suffocated the Cardiff midfield with his harrying.
  11. It's mad to think we're beating an experienced Cardiff side 3-1 with O'Leary, Vyner, Pring, Massengo, Scott and Semenyo playing!!!
  12. Sorry disagree. We look nowhere near a relegation candidate on current form and the table is fine.
  13. Massengo atones. Good tenacious midfield play to get the move started.
  14. Scott and Massengo as a central midfield pairing. Exciting and frightening in equal measure.
  15. Bad error from Massengo but also how many times do I have to watch Vyner looking despondent as his man scores...?
  16. Another comment about Pearson...I've noticed he always seems to have his finger on the pulse regards what fans are thinking. Several times he has correctly alluded to what the fans think. On this occasion he states that fans might feel that striker is the priority, which perhaps is an obvious one, but I've noted this a few times. I genuinely think that Pearson makes an effort to know what fans are talking about. Maybe he asks a member of staff to check this forum? Or he makes sure someone keeps their finger on the pulse around the ground ?
  17. I liked how in contrast Pearson was gushing with praise about Scott
  18. 100% Bobby Reid would be one of my first picks. He's got the speed, energy, close control, he can finish and technically a good all rounder.

    Semenyo

I wonder if Semenyo and Conway would be able to form a partnership...with Scott in behind them ?

    Semenyo

I thought Semenyo was outstanding today. He was everything I'd dreamed about when he was first flagged as a hot prospect. Both the finishes were top level.
  21. Andi Weimann's finishing has been outstanding this season ? Before we get carried away we still saw a couple of WTF is he doing moments today from the Alpine mountain goat. But what a good performance from Andi!
  22. I totally agree that the ref was rubbish and seemingly biased but we were also the architects of our own downfall. Again we gave a needless penalty away and King has made a stupid decision to take the 3nd yellow.
  23. Well you neglected to mention his boring voice but besides that a very nice piece ?
