  1. I couldn’t care less. They have long overstayed their welcome and need to go regardless. There’s no turning around my feelings towards them. Snakes and liars, the lot of them.
  2. I hope the Lansdowns, and Tinnion, all resign if we fail to make the top six. They’ve been very open about that being the goal and in some ways I feel for Manning working under that pressure, and for Nige who had to deal with that. This is not “the best squad we’ve had in my time here”, nor do “we have a top-10 budget” as spuriously claimed by JL last week. But these are the goals set for Manning and if he doesn’t achieve them, the board needs to be accountable.
  3. Much like Holden, I won’t blame Manning for taking the job. It was only this time last year he was sacked by MK Dons in League Two! Yet here were are 12 months on willing to pay a six-figure sum to bring him here. I thought we had no cash?! At MK Dons, he had Twine and Darling sold above his head so he’ll be used to losing his best players and not having them replaced with sufficient (or better) quality, so he should be happy to do the same here all in the name of the owner’s nest egg. I imagine another attractive tick in the box for the board, or shall I say Tinnion, is he’s happy to put up with interference and deferring on recruitment. I can’t wait for the press conference when Manning blows smoke up the Lansdowns’ arses, tells us all how we’re a PL club in waiting, and talks about our vast potential. All that without managing a single game at this level and not knowing that he’s walking into a shit show. JL said this is the best squad he’s ever seen, that we have a top-10 budget, and the top six is the goal. So best of luck, Liam. You will need bucket loads of it. Lansdowns out.
  4. I have zero faith in the Lansdowns or Tinnion. If they had a clear plan, they’d have had the new man in place by now like they did with LJ. As such, it appears - not for the first time - they have no succession plan. And I won’t even go into their track record of appointing managers or coaches. The evidence is there for all to see. Where’s Keith Dawe when we need him?!
  5. I’d love to see AFCB go down. They’d probably have to sell Scott and Semenyo if they did; Kelly will walk away on a free next summer so that sell-on appears to have gone. A tinpot club that broke FFP and have punched well above their weight ever since.
  6. JL said Holden was the best man for the job three years ago and from recent interviews, it doesn’t look like he’s sharpened up since.
  7. Not on this occasion. Merson hit the nail firmly on the head, and whether you like it or not that’s the wider perception of us in the media after events of the last week.
  8. It’s not very often I say Merson’s bang on the money, but today he is . We are a national basket case, and it is all about ego. Lansdowns out.
  9. If even a slice of the nest egg was made available to Nige for one or two signings before the window closed and we’d have had more depth to cover an injury crisis. Really hope those three aren’t being rushed back too soon.
  10. Vyner, Tanner and James all fit to start today? I wonder who approved that
  11. Top man who genuinely has the club’s best interests at heart, unlike those above him who put their own egos first. Lansdowns out.
  12. They’ve had more than 20 years to learn from their mistakes, how anyone thinks there’s even the slightest chance they will have had some sort of epiphany now is beyond me. I’m not letting them off the hook.
  13. “Get out of our club, Get out of our clubbbb. **** off, Lansdown. Get out of our club.” ”We want Lansdown out, say we want Lansdown out.” ”Sack the board, sack the board, sack the board (repeat).”
  14. There’s nothing transparent about pre-recorded, scripted interviews, though. That is not effective communication. All they are trying to do is shape the narrative, deflecting attention away from their ineptitude. Most of the ‘communication’ doesn’t stand up to the slightest bit of scrutiny either. It’s complete shite and they expect us all to swallow it.
  15. Funniest, and most apt, thing I’ve seen all year. I will never get bored of watching that! Nail on the head!
  16. Time the Lansdowns and Tinnion moved on as well, mind.
  17. He’d be more desperate for a win than we are!
  18. It’s not surprising given the Lansdowns’ track record of dithering and woeful appointments! Rewind to 2020 when it took six weeks: “We’ve run a thorough and vigorous process, we had a wide range of candidates” blah blah blah. They don’t have a clue what they’re doing. That’s the reality.
  19. Yes, I would be more confident of getting six points if he was still in charge. I’m not at all confident of that now.
  20. How about we revert that stand back to its rightful name? The Williams Stand. That’s what I call it. **** Lansdown.
  21. With Nige and players coming back into the squad from injury, a minimum of four points and probably six should have been the target. Now, again it depends on who’s fit and available, but I’m nowhere near as confident and doubt we’ll even get three points from the next two games. But as others rightly point out, nothing but promotion will do for JL and Tinnion, despite the injuries, so it has to be six points. They’ve set that expectation, anything else is failure.
  22. I agree mate and I’m not saying it will be Fleming; just that it would not surprise me if that’s where they end up. They’ve got previous for this with Holden. When they sacked Cotts, LJ sat in his seat the next day. I was expecting the same after Nige. What’s the delay now? Was it a knee-jerk decision? Are they paying compo for someone? I don’t think they have a clue what they’re doing.
  23. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if either of them takes charge. I really wouldn’t. They’re on record as saying they want a head coach. That rules out Rowett, Jones, Warnock. I doubt we’re going to pay to buy out Robins or Williams. Eustace seems like a no-goer, despite the odds. They won’t take Cotts back. Are they deluded enough to think they can get a Hassenhutl, Lampard or Parker? I can’t see any of them coming in when the board are on record as saying PL is the aim this season and they have no money to spend. I severely doubt the board have the nous to appoint anyone from overseas as well. So, where does that leave us? Fleming or Tinnion. How the hell they let us get into this position beggars belief. Completely reckless, stupid and short-sighted. Clueless fools, all of them.
  24. No, no, no, top half was how I voted the other day. It’s also how I feel today and how I will vote at the end of the season. The Lansdowns and Tinnion take us all for absolute mugs, nothing’s clearer than that after watching those interviews yesterday, the propaganda videos of the injured suddenly rising from the treatment table, and even the Bristol Sport bots on here. It takes the piss that they think so lowly of us fans, to the extent that we will stomach any decision they make, swallow every word they speak, and even be swayed by Russian-style influencers. There’s a real arrogant complacency stemming from board level and it stinks. But I see through it and I won’t be swayed come what May. Their time is up and deep down I bet they know it.
