Watched a bit of the under 21's / under 23's pre season and Leeson really impressed me at RWB.

Saw Wood play left wing back in the friendly at Bath and thought he struggled there. Left side of the back 3 far more comfortable for him so good to see.

Aaron Sainsbury who was in City's academy and now coaches the academy keepers is Paulton's number 1. Have signed Kyle Tooze who has played for most teams in the area, Manor Farm in multiple stints included, and are playing him as the main striker. Scored a hat trick on debut against Lymington on Saturday.

There is something about the young group of players at the club. Saw a few games last year and although not dominating they always found a way to win (league games anyway). Spoke to someone who was there watching this afternoon and he said we weren't great first half but again found a way to get the result. A very good characteristic to have and bodes well moving forward.
