Keep both at a competitive but affordable wage for our level and if not good enough for them then
-
I hope any anger when/if it goes tits up tomorrow is at Lansdown & Tinnion.
The players do not need booing but those 2 idiots do need telling and Lansdown Out / Tinnion Out chants won’t affect the team.

If the clubs get another £5 million per year, the players will know and demand yet higher wages not remotely tied to performance. The clubs will panic and give in and we will be back to square 1.
For me the only way to fix the wage inflation in Prem and Championship is to create a set of conditions that must be included in every players contract. These conditions would include a certain percentages tied to: to league position and appearances and a compulsory 50% reduction if the club is relegated. This would allow parachute payments to be abolished with this money evenly distributed between all championship clubs, it would prevent players being happy to sit in the reserves for years and refusing to go. I don't think this would lead to an exodus of players as the prem pays better than most leagues.
Just one point, I think appearances is a dangerous path, particularly when you consider why Andi went on loan.
Not fair on the players if e.g. they don’t play in last 10 games cos mid-table obscurity is likely outcome so teams do not pick players due to extra costs incurred; you would like to think they wouldn’t but clearly would and do. Could lead to very disappointed players and maybe even court cases - somebody would try it if they felt that had enough evidence!?
Albeit agree with sentiment of conditions being added; just maybe not this one

That makes a big assumption the target was to win all 17 games and achieve 51 points. I don’t think that was the case was it?
Probably not but I would think they would target say 4 wins and say 4 draws out of 17 games (so point(s) in roughly 50% of games) which would put them in the mix to possibly survive

@Silvio Dante - I agree to a large extent that SL and his crew have not helped; I even tweeted him yesterday telling him this was mainly fine to him and lack of investment.
however, I think it is 8 losses and 2 draws in last 10 league games and some of those were teams they should compete with like Brighton and Leicester instead losing 7-3 and 5-2 respectively.
To some extent you have to then question; where’s the tactics, where’s the pride etc. and that is on Lauren to take a decent slice of responsibility imo.

Lauren Smith is the perfect example of the family club.
Massive failure yet still here - imagine any other job where you perform at less than 12% of possible target and seem to be under no pressure to improve.
Not like she is Liam Manning FFS- 1

So it’s a sell out next Friday- that means all seats sold -non available, All gone NOW if people don’t turn up for whatever reason ie bank holiday , sick , gone abroad for a break or because it’s live on sky or just old plain oiling the wheel on your wheelbarrow ITS SOLD OUT empty seats or not we couldn’t take anymore money But wait for it I’m nearly 90 and understand it
We could take more money if we had a ticket exchange system for those not attending.
Thinking outside the box deteriorates with age.

A question for those who may know: I want to switch seats within the Dolman. According to the website I can only do this on April 24th.
However, a fellow fan has told me that if we renew our seats beforehand we can then switch them later. Is this so? I’m confused!
You can renew your seat and then request a switch later. Once your ticket is showing in your profile you can sort online yourself

The quoting of incorrect facts can only mean one thing.

Would be interesting but his silence since has guaranteed an NDA was in place so we are only going to hear analysis over blunt truths unfortunately

Not a suprise club in mess
Just proves the robotic nature of anything in this club.
You can just imagine the note to admin from above :-
Due to negativity from a minority of fans, please ensure activity is increased for likes on S/T threads and repost responses please.
Thanks,

Going nowhere. I feel the S/T 24/25 poster was yet another Lansdown two fingers to the fans.
Including the (under pressure; at least from fans viewpoint) manager as the main picture was strange but then to include (ever-increasing unpopular) Tinnion was completely wacko and very much on purpose I suspect.

That is odds reflective of an unlikely event and a chance for bookies to make a few quid on hopeful punts.
Not a bet I would get drawn in for even a fiver, however, I would bet decent money on that being closer 50/1 in about 3 games time

I am yet (I think) to harshly criticise Manning on here. I am concerned by him and some of his decisions.
My anger is Tinnion and Lansdown to the level that I want these two gone first and see what happens on the pitch after that before I give up on LM.
I feel he may have consistent voices in his ear who still believe they can manage at this level

I shouted “Tinnion Out, Lansdown must go” at the last game and of the few that heard most ignored me, some looked and a couple of apes told me to FO

Personally I think fans are free to listen to what they want. Math is a fan, just has a different view to me or you.
I have no issue with differing views.
my issue (and tbf I would not listen or read his rose tinted Bristol Live reports anymore so this is 2nd hand), is criticising fellow fans for voicing theirs at the game; which seems to be what he is doing.
In truth I just don’t like when fans have a platform to influence and may not share their true thoughts; there is enough people around the club doing that already. Snakes on the wain

He is a happy clapper who is in bed with the club and it's owners.
Bloke is a joke, that's why radio Bristol keep phoning him for comment
People need to stop listening to this shit; a podcast should represent the fans and not be butt slurping to ensure they get guests from the club.
Embarrassing that they are prepared to rose-tint a very gloomy time in our history.
They have the chance to be a real voice and make a mark in our history but are clearly

Paying NI stops when you reach pensionable age.
Yes I know that bit but probably won’t make that age
But if you have a drawdown pension scheme and can continue to pay AVC’s into the scheme via company salary sacrifice you can stop paying NI at 55 provided you pay enough AVCs to get your NIable earnings between the LEL and the PT.
The great thing is you still “pay” NI but at 0% contribution rate
Will we loan any young West Ham talent?

Our current first team has been proven this season to be clearly better than their first team so why would we want their kids who are not deemed good enough for their first team? We are only joking about attempting to get to league 1 after all
