Championship top 6 :- Bristol City
Can’t be arsed with the rest
-
-
At this rate it will start for 24/25 season.
Very amateur - how complex can this scheme be to take months to finalise !?
-
Worth trying hesgoal.com in future for midweek games to see if available.
Had all tonight’s games and you can screen mirror. Biased Radio Norfolk commentary but was still good and they show replays, have a couple of camera angles etc.
Still not the best picture but much better than virgin red button

I'm with Nige generally, but was tonight's ref really that bad? I didn't tihnk so. If one of your players decides to risk a red card by making a mad challenge, you can't stand there and say but their bloke retaliated. I agree in general, but wrong game to bring this up, for me. Tonight's ref wasn't poor. All about opinions.
You are completely overlooking the blatant penalty for the two handed push in the back on Atkinson which was the other main frustration from tonight; yes the ref was ok on most decisions but big mistakes like this cannot and should not happen.

Why have we started having matchday threads two days before the game?
Why are they always essays no sane person would read - what a load of shit.
I scroll down to condensed version and start there

Agreed.
But too soon for Sunderland I would think.
Maybe 30 minutes ?
No pre-season at all - doubt he will be on the bench for 2 or 3 games yet.
Maybe 45 mins as starter in an under 23 game in a week or so will be an option

I’ll watch it and hope that any Sunderland outfield player gets a red card……….…….
Ha ha ha - my sides are splitting
Palmer on the bench

If it is on form this pre-season and key contributions during then not getting why Nahki Wells is not in any team above?

What about the starting £5 for members and £10 for S/T holders - is that a previous benefit lost or do you expect that to be an add on for reward balance from purchases made already this season?
-
Just wondering if anybody actually knows when this will be announced and any details?
I seem to be in a minority of people that are mystified that a defined benefit for S/T holders and membership has not been published yet.
Of course I would not expect people to delay buying S/T or membership for this one aspect but surely with season start just around the corner we should by now know the full benefits of our chosen package?

I was told in the club shop when buying some things that the club will automatically apply any benefit backdated. So if they say it's £10 off then I am expecting a £10 refund.
Be great if that happens but I suspect people will just get £10 they can spend which is great if you want to buy something but crap if you have already bought everything you wanted due to not waiting for delayed announcement of the scheme.
If nothing else I guess you can always but a £2 Easter egg in a city box for £8.99 next season

With season ticket delivered now, does that mean they can be used toward discounts on stuff in the club shop if you bring it with you? Or does it only kick in when the season starts?
We are still awaiting the loyalty scheme information for some reason - why is it taking so long after people have paid to know the full benefits of their S/T purchase is laughable.
The upshot, presuming you mean your £10 rewards you normally get each season and not your 10% rewards added per purchase, is there is no discount currently.

I think other than 1 year I've had a new season ticket every year.
Correct. Must cost a fortune and I have always wondered why - it cannot just be design changes (can it?) as presumably they would just have something more generic in red and white with “Bristol City” written on it so I presume software changes or something like that !?
I still do not quite understand why it is not just a scan code kept in a smart phone wallet with paper version available a bit like ‘covid pass’ times

My postie is a nice chatty man and had a parcel for the missus today so had to knock the door. I asked him about S/Ts and he said there is loads of boxes at the sorting office ready to go out soon.
I didn’t get in to why they have not gone out already as none of my business and I guess there is lots of procedures we know nothing about that need to happen before we get our mail, but, I personally take reassurance that the majority have not left the sorting office yet so no need to panic just cos a lucky few have received

Sorry, this is for streaming stuff, not for Sunderland….perhaps mods can split out into a separate thread….or dekete my post?
I did get that - I thought my smilies gave away the sarcasm in my response - I work on a different, potentially/probably unfunny humour level

Anybody know when they are going to announce what the loyalty scheme actually means and what perks you get?
Strange that S/T holders get it and now members yet still in the dark what it actually offers?
Normally when you pay for something you are fully briefed on what you are paying for.
Last year all members got £10 reward balance yet that is missing currently and presumably wrapped up as part of this loyalty scheme

Depends how you look at it @Finley_Smith10.
Football fans suck up modern football far too easily in my opinion. You frequently hear of football fans wanting to protest about something or other, whether that's ownership (Perhaps the most common), challenging the position of the manager on the back of a long run of bad results, or simple things like ticket pricing. Quite often these protests don't come to fruition, or at best, is a small minority of fans protesting before or after the game, therfore not really having the intended impact and usually something the club involved can sweep under the carpet pretty quickly, and then carry on mugging off fans. Just look at the recent "walkout" by Everton fans. That was embarrassing.
As I said in another thread this week, hopefully someone at BCFC will see that they have got the pricing horribly wrong today, and wake up to this. And if what @Meh has said about concessions is true, well, that's shocking in my opinion and goes to show how out of touch the club, and football in general is with the fans right now.
Today wasn't an organised protest, it was simply the fans turning their back on the club for making a very poor decision, hence the low attendance.
Your right it is embarrassing... for Bristol City FC.
Certainly is correct - my friend told the woman serving it was disgusting and she just shrugged (to be fair what else can she do).
I did wonder if the T&Cs covered this because I thought the discounts were any Bristol City game irrespective of competition

Apparently Fulham blocked the price city wanted to charge. That’s the rumour anyway
I read that home team sets prices for cup tickets.
Certainly the away team do not control concessions so Bristol Sport has decided S/T privileges are null and void today
