Went to mugshot on Friday for a different dining experience and ut was fantastic. Steak was one of the best, if not the best, I've ever had. The secret library after (cocktail bar) was also fantastic In both ambience and service

No he didn’t.
He said it wasn’t working for him (West Brom), and brought him off, switching formation in the process. There was so much tarmac and tyre marks on his after that bus throwing under incident (), he dropped him for how many games? None, kept his place straight for the next match. So easy to throw out stuff that’s just not true.
He did the same with Alex Scott…hasn’t worked out too badly has it?
Of course he picked him again straight away, it's what he does!

You can have King and Simpson….Baker very unfortunate, was playing his best for a couple of years. King and Simpson were free transfers on one year deals. Hasn’t hamstrung us, so a small positive. James has been good when played (equiv of 20 games). Think you’ve gone too early on Tanner and Atkinson, especially Atkinson. You missed off Andi Weimann btw.
I'll give you weimann, been a revelation this season. Don't particularly rate James, in fact if all our players were available he don't play. King and Simpson take up a wage that could have been better placed. Tanner wasn't even bought for this season he was one for the future but due to other crap signings and performances he was rushed in. Let's not forget Pearson also threw him under a bus earlier in the season!

Yep clear out Vyner and the other deadwood and let him rebuild the team like I’m pretty sure he was employed to do
Ahh the old rebuild cloud! Like he did this season with Simpson, King, James, tanner, Baker and Atkinson? That went well

You got any better ideas? Cause this one ain't working!

All this talk of change of players and how poor old nige can't do that cause he ain't got no more to pick from.
How about he changes formation? Because this one certainly ain't working with the players he has available!
Or just go and bully a reporter, it seams to brighten him up andnof course its their fault!

How about he takes a bit of blame himself. He continually picks the same side, same tactics and expects different results? He's deluded!
Still he can slam off all the reporters and everyone's happy!
We are where we are!

Hopefully that's the last we see of o leary in a city shirt, cause he ain't big enough, strong enough or good enough

After hearing JP on radio Bristol last night his memory matched my cloudy one from that era and not the vitriol posted by BTRFTG on the previous thread.
We have a lot to thank them for

Revisionist history had no limits it seems. Amazing how the facts (sic) of the matter appear in the hands of those who weren't around at the time.
City owe nothing to 'The 8', unless that is you wanted City to go bust, which is nearly where they took the club. 'The 8' looked only after themselves, for which I don't blame them, but lest not forget the players immediately became free agents and later were paid around half of the outstanding balance on their contracts, so it's not as though they were left high and dry. Bristol Dockers who were being shafted at the time weren't so fortunate. Kids singing their stupid song might start by asking themselves if 'The 8' were such heroes then why were their testimonials so poorly attended? Answer, although one or two genuinely had been playing heroes most weren't and all their attitudes at screwing as much as possible out of the club didn't go down well with fans.
At the time the players, Merrick in particular, were filmed saying they'd never set foot in AG ever again. For several years Merrick also wasn't shy in describing his thoughts on the club's treatment of him, as many a person who's worked in the building trade will attest. How times (and facts) change.
And no, if there's a card on my seat dream on if you think it'll be held aloft, as those like me who thought my beloved club all but gone recall how the hard the PFA had to work to talk the players out of their demands.
City's sad chapter should be buried, not celebrated.
Wow, just wow, docker were you?

For the love of God for how much longer will we have to put up with this [O'Dowda] apology of a footballer!!
I'm putting a Tenner on him to score at PNE at the weekend as despite another abject performance he'll be starting - he has a 1 in 25 scoring record and we're due one soon!!
Another with an agenda your remarks and those on your podcast border on embarrassing at times for a grown man. Odowda was no worse (or better) than the majority of the team.last night who will uou scapegoat when he's gone?

Obviously an agenda against o dowda, to mark him lower than o leary! I wouldn't have given o leary anything above a 3, culpable for both goals and woeful kicking, but let's blame o dowda!

I agree with you completely. Tapas has become hip in this country, in Spain it is still cheap and cheerfull, free sometimes and served as you mention above
