  1. Lets hope the new owners have someone in mind.
  2. I am gutted, i feel for Nigel. The quicker the Lansdowns leave and a new owner is in placenthe better. Did they look at the bench on Saturday we were at rock bottom re our squad. That is not Nigels fault. This is one of the wrost desions ever made by a owner of Bristol City. Sell up and be gone.
  3. In my humble opinion we have the one of the best City manager i have known in my 67 years of supporting City. Reading what has been writen on this forum on this subject i would say well over 80 % of the fans want him to stay. So i was thinking the same as Wokingham Red on Wednesday when the match starts lets all sing as load as we can, for as long as we can "Theres only one Nigel Peason". Then as long as we are not losing, lets keep it going. I agree Nigel health is a worry, but as long as he as he feels he can contribute to the club we must keep him. The other thought that has come into my head is with the sudden removel of the COE and now this. Could it be that a take over is gathering pace, and the new owners are putting things in place for when they break the news.
  4. Aftter Joe little out burst after being subed at Rotherham. I wonder if Nigel will put him on the bench or even leave him out. He did not have one of his better games to be fair, so was not surprised when he was subed.
  5. City shirt out of the wardrobe, Thatchers chilling in the fridge. Will be sat down in front the TV turned into Sky football, for another evening of rollercoaster emotions.Come on lads 3 points please or at least a draw.
  6. Well isaid just after we gained promotion, the club need to do some serious recruiment over the summer. 2-4 home defeat first home matchof the season. Its going to be a long hard winter for our ladies team.
  7. He has come on for Burnley in the 66th minute. Hope that means some more money for us.
  8. Yes look like he will sign for Burnley, which is good news for us.
  9. Fred and his wife were friends of my mum and dad. I was keen to be a professional footballer then. I was around 12 and Fred use to watch me playing with some friends. He told me if i wanted a trail at City, i should practise by kicking a tennis ball againist the wall and learn to control it. Never had that trail, but did with some other clubs, but never made it.
  10. Listening to Peps conferance this lunch time. He said he's not involved if a player wants to leave or an offer has come in. Thats between the player and the board. Of course if he wants the player to stay he will try his hardest. But at the end of the day it is between player and board, and he just has to get on with it. Thats what Nigel will do, thats football.
  11. Semenyo is injured so may not play this weekend.

  14. With all this talk about Max. Its a shame we can not sign Mervin Day. Then we would have had Knight and Day.
  15. Many years ago i remember listening to City home games, while in Frechay on Hospitial broadcast. Do they still do this?
  16. Sounds like a great season for us. Thats see how we feel this Saturday evening.
